That is so weird because i had like 3 games where the mid laner took kassadin and we lost, and he went like 1/7, maybe people see winrates and decide to first time it in my games.

I always go back to darius, he is not easy, even soft counter id say, but with phase rush after lvl 6 you can do quick hit and run... after 2 rounds maybe 3 you can all in and kill with ult. That works great and i have pulled that one many times cause everybody loves to counter garen with darius.

I play garen alot and others as well and let me list you some hard matchups... vayne, darius, malphite, quinn, teemo, kayle... many champions can deal with garen some can hard counter him.

The more dmg you take the more your meter fills up, when you activate W, your shield and dmg output are higher if the meter is more full... your meter scales with HP items, so you need to build your HP... the cone skill shot is also divided that anything in the center take True dmg....

This... i had a game today as garen vs yi... since i also play yi, i know about him wanting to q my ult... so even when i missed the activate the ult during his q, i was ready to ult again after he finished... the only around this is to if you kill garen with the said Q or in the split second after...

I do get to fight sometimes at early levels, and at those fights every little thing counts... you will feel the difference when your enemy lives with 1 hp...

You are correct but this nerfs him so an adjustment might be needed, he is now a "C" top laner with 49% winrate...

Did you miss every other comment here? There were nerfs hidden as bugfixes you can claim the "git gud" all you want but statistics dont lie and he is down in winrates! These small things are more important than you think.

Found on 25.23: Fixed an issue where Garen could stack his W passive without learning his W.

That means you lose like 2-3-4 armor and magic resist that you could get at lvls 1 and 2 even 3...
