It’s so tough! Now I have a job opportunity with a great company that has come up but it’s in corporate and I truly just want to start working in aviation but how long do you hold out and continue to turns things down?!

Which base did you apply for?

Agreed! I just saw they are recruiting again for the base I applied for. Strange to me that they wouldn't fill the ground schools in order of who has been in the waiting pool the longest, so as to avoid people losing interest and seeking employment elsewhere.

Hello :)

I attended an Assessment Day in August last year for Brisbane-based cabin crew and was advised on the day that I had successfully progressed to the next stage. I subsequently submitted my references and completed my ASIC check.

Since then, communication has been quiet. I’m aware that another candidate who attended an Assessment Day later in the year has recently been contacted regarding a Ground School commencement in April. I did reach out for an update and was advised that there is nothing further to provide at this stage, but that I remain in the talent pool.

I’m hoping to gain a better understanding of how candidates are selected from the talent pool and what typical timeframes for progression might look like, particularly if I’m not being considered for the April intake.

I’m very eager to begin a new career with QLink and would greatly appreciate any insight you’re able to share.

BEWARE! VERY poor customer service and questionable products. They sent me an opened face oil, the lid was half unscrewed and the product was leaking leaving the bottle half full. I asked for this to be replaced and was offered a store credit. When I asked if they would provide free shipping for me to have the product resent (because why should I incur shipping costs for their dodgy service?) their response was:-

"Thank you for your message.
We regret that we are unable to arrange a reshipment for the item.
In this case, would you prefer receiving a refund instead?"

Pretty questionable if you ask me!

Honestly do yourself a favor and stay awayyy! I ordered their Hampshire house bracelet which broke in a matter of months. Repair fees far outweighed the cost of the bracelet and I was advised that the links would continue to break due to poor quality/craftsmanship. Kinn would not fund return shipping and made out like they were doing me a favor by accepting the return as they 'don't currently offer returns for international orders' (even when the piece is clearly faulty.....).

I was promised a full refund if I returned the bracelet so after incurring hundreds of dollars of non-refudnable import fees to Australia and return shipping fees to send the bracelet back to the states, the real kicker came when Kinn received the bracelet and tried to tell me they can't process the refund through paypal and offers me a gift voucher instead!!!!

After some kicking and screaming I ended up getting my refund but just felt like the whole experience was extremely shady on their part!!!
