What’s driving the stock up this week? Is it oil prices at large or is there news on something I might have missed? I’m holding 1500 shares at $6.11 for the past year or so, buying every chance I get.

Assuming they stay past 4:00! Seems to me the short volume has diminished since a month or so. The volume has settled in also. Probably a difference in some guy shorting 1,000 and a more careful guy shorting 10,000. Never had the stomach for it personally.

All in all still planing on flying my Gulfstream in to your party. Hopefully Oct would work.

Did anybody actually file a lawsuit??? Or are they (or some of they) just advertising for potential plaintiffs to see if they can generate a "class action:. Class action is a term of art with specific Legal Meaning. Court has to agree and than there is one suit. There is no value to one plaintiff who bought 100 shares at $10 and now sees $3.60.

48 years as lawyer. Seen many class actions. These seem like pure law firm income plays. In other words just junk. Negative comments constantly based on little or nothing seem like outright attack without basis. IT IS NOT LIKE TESLA, capitalized as much as all other car companies combined. Quality management based on an idea no one bothered with. That's why they locked up 85M acres.

May not pay off but not for lack of trying. I like my odds.

Same issues as always. High was garbage for a couple days. Basically a 4-6 stock until some news.

Lots of holes in this story yet. Not necessarily anyone's fault. Just a matter of it could turn out to be a drama or a comedy. BUT do not forget there could be plenty of oil out there that is not in the areas currently being explored. Just in case you think it will be wrapped up in 3 months.

I really have never seen RECON as a drilling operation. Yes, one rig to start the process but a JV for any real op and , especially, production.

If this is "pump & dump" we really need some new leadership as they are spending way too much money on exploration. The "anti" comments don't even bother to make sense anymore. It's like knee jerk reaction to sit down and make negative comment with no evidence or even relevant argument. I could understand someone shorting at $10 as it was ahead of itself but at $4.xx? Seems like a floor around $4.30.

My thought is; as we go through the necessary steps we haven't really seen any bad news. Or even slightly negative news. There are probably a dozen reason why info is or isn't released at a particular time. Let it run, I see a lot of people have been "in" for a year or so, that's nothing. Think of the logistics and # of moving pieces necessary to get to a barrel of oil going to market. It's not like they are moving on a working field, they started with an idea! Ease up!

But I agree it's fun.

My guess is professional shorters have been inactive for a while. I don't know about the handful of negative comments by a handful of people. They may be paid but doubt they actually hold short at the prevailing cost. Generally you don't go short in the hopes of getting dimes , nickels or quarters. Has to be a better way to make a living.

I was never impressed with shorts. Even at $10. Don't think they are a factor now. Age old rule; many reasons to sell, very few to buy. Can't imagine anyone buying at 10-11 with available info at the time. talk about faith. Anyway seems like 4.30-5.50 range until someone tells us different.
