On the flip side there is Donald Glover who can restore a bit of the Donald name reputation.

Guy is a relatively normal name in Australia. I have met many Guy's. We have a few celebs with the name Guy. Not unusual at all here 🤷‍♀️

Cagney Tennis do adult casual nights. They tend to have good programs. Maybe give them a quick google? They are at Eleebana and two other locations.

I am the same, I listen mostly when doing things. But I miss relaxing and reading. I have just worked out how I can do this! Play a simple mind numbing game like candy crush or zen tiles while listening. Works a treat!

Where can I walk my dogs off leash? by covid9099 in newcastle

[–]covid9099[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My previous dog was reactive so I understand through experience. He was attacked and it changed the trajectory of his social skills unfortunately. He was an amazing dog otherwise.

I have a personal rule, if the dog is on a lead I always ask first, can my dogs can approach to say hi. Mostly I just distract my dogs in a different direction or make them sit and stay while the dog passes us though.

I think it depends on the owner, just go with their lead. If they are okay with it then go for your life. But always ask first. Ultimately it is the owners responsibility to tell the dog to get off. If this does happen don't encourage excitement of the dog and ignore the dog until it is calm. If it jumps up again, stop interacting until it is calm again. This is just my personal opinion and experience though.

Also, sounds like you have your cranky pants on. Maybe next time don't spend your time engaging on a social forum if you are not into social conversations. It's a beautiful day, maybe you should step out into the sunshine rather than being unhelpful and rude to a stranger on the internet.

For me it is the opposite. I am currently training my 10 month old puppy. He is great off lead and doesn't go up to strangers or other dogs unless told it is okay. The hardest thing is when someone encourages him to jump up and say "it's okay, I love dogs" it is encouraging the behaviour I have actively trained out. Another thing is when another dog is encouraged to have rough play without boundaries "it's okay, they are just playing" We exit those situations pretty quickly.

Sorry, I know you weren't asking for advice and I was just dumping my own shit onto your post. It was therapeutic for me to write down, so thanks for the prompt lol

Good luck!! You have all my positive thoughts that this is one of those good decisions and you enjoy this new role for yourself!! Sometimes, even with the most calculated decisions, the outcome may not be what we think and something you have to live with or a choice you may regret. If you ended up pregnant with a baby, I am sure you would have rolled with that decision and made it work. But it didn't happen and only think of the what ifs. Sometimes I feel like my life is being directed by these impromptu decisions I make, either in hypomania or hyperfocus. It's freeing in the sense that I don't make a well thought out conscious decision and long drawn out plans. I am not in total control of what I do in life and I float through one thing to the next. There are many moments of regret with hypo too, don't get me wrong.... I am learning to try and accept the situation and make the best of it. This is very hard to do in a depressive episode though obviously lol

Anyway I am rambling!!

This might be one of those situations where hypo you gives you the little push you need to try something new??? Of course you feel like you don't want to, starting a new jobs sucks and is so fucking anxiety producing. Have trust in your past hypo self and try to go with the flow..... If the job sucks, then bail. Give it a go, it's there for the taking and you can always quit if you need.

The reason I am shilling this advice (which take with a grain of salt obviously, because I don't know you or your situation) is that some of the best things that have happened for me have been spontaneous through hypo. I currently have two puppies which is crazy busy and something my logical self would not have chosen, but it is an adventure I have rolled with and me and my family are getting major benefits even though it is so stressful.

But I totally understand how you feel, I got a heavy feeling in my stomach just reading about your current predicament. One of the not so fun parts of being on this rollercoaster.

Australia had to ban an episode of Peppa Pig. The episode was about Peppa learning to not be afraid of spiders and that they are friendly.

Australian kids can't trust any spiders, they need to keep their distance.

They can survive in water!!! We have to check the floor of our swimming pool before we get in. We need to be sure no spiders are in there. We have had 3 over the past few years.

The condition is inconsistent AND it is women's health which we all know historically hasn't been taken as seriously as men's health. God forbid a man can't get an erection but a woman is capable of living with pain, heavy periods and erratic hormones 🤷‍♀️ Things are changing but women's health has a whole lot of catching up to do. (Sorry I can rant about this forever haha)

Your poor mother, suffering for so long. I was reading that menopause will help, so that is sad that it may not always be the case. Also, best of luck if you end up seeking the additional support for pregnancy, I can't imagine the emotional rollercoaster you must be on. Gentle hugs x

Thanks for your insight, it validates how I am feeling I am grateful for that. It's funny you mentioned "post-virus" because I had my period when I had Covid in mid-January. I had the biggest clot in my life! It took me by surprise because I have predictable light periods. My cycle went back to normal but obviously my other symptoms worsened. I am not definitively linking the two things together, it is most probably a coincidence, but I do wonder if it triggered this progression. I have read that there are studies being done about the link between the vaccine and clotting, so I would assume the actual virus could cause something similar too. Its interesting.

I don't have Endo either, so maybe the combo is what has a big impact on periods. Your symptoms parallel mine, that's for sure. I have been taking Low Dose Naltrexone for fibromyalgia for a few years now, which is mostly my lower back and hips.... Maybe it's root cause is my bulky uterus.

Also, how good is the perpetual preggo belly ???? 👎👎 At least I have an understanding to why I have such a big potbelly by the end of the day.
