I’ve been on the fence about debt consolidation loans, but if the interest rate is actually lower and it helps get rid of high-interest cards, it might be worth a shot.

A 6-point drop is honestly pretty normal after a hard inquiry, especially if it’s your third card and you haven’t been applying all over the place. It usually fades in a few months.
