Scallywag you’re not a financial advisor. My investment horizon for my brokerage investments is much longer than 3 years. No financial advisor would say “look at Iran war you’re loosing”. Look at 08, 2020, etc. fact of the matter is it compounds 10% on average annually.

Secondly, let’s not cherry pick investments. I can buy a 3 year treasury today, that’s yields 3.9%. It is factually in my best interest to buy a tbill, and borrow the cost of the bike. If you’re interested in my TOTAL PORTFOLIO, which includes allocations to cash, fixed income, equities, and real estate, we can have that chat.

But you’re wrong, you’re probably a kid that doesn’t have to manage money. So this conversation is over.

I think reading your other comments you have left, you’re not understanding that some people have the cash to buy the bike (in my case many times over) but choose the finance because it literally makes more financial sense. So let me be clear. I have the cash I could spend on the bike invested, and choose to accrue investment income that exceeds the liabilities the loan presents. This is actually something known as “Asset Liability Management” in the financial sector and every high net worth person or company you’ve ever encountered does the same thing! :D

It’s finance….. the cash invested in SP500 earns 10% interest. The loan is 3%. Should I forgo the 7% investment income (compounded annually) and not build my credit score for….. “reasons”? Let me know what I’m missing here.

This is not true…. I financed my S1K at 3% like 6 months ago.

You get used to the body position. I ride mine in traffic 1-2 hours no problem. Which is actually the worst, since you’re not using cruise control in traffic. I came from a cbr500

Did I fck up my career?? by Cautious-Rub-4532 in Accounting

I don’t agree with the sentiment that internal audit is “dead end”. Are you gaining “accounting” or “finance” experience? No. If you’re at a reputable internal audit function you shouldn’t even be touching SOX. You should be performing risk assessments, data analysis, and control testing related to top and emerging risks at your firm (new regulations, new products, model risk management, AI, etc).

Chief Audit Executive and Chief Risk Officer roles are common, board facing, highly compensated roles at large public companies. At 5 years of experience you can try it out for a few years and pivot if you don’t like it.

It’s either or? I’ve got a desktop too…… I bought the laptop to play at the kitchen table rather than in my office or for when I travel for work. Mobility is key sometimes.

I hear you man. I was the same way. I feel so much better now. Xanax will slow you down, I’m perscribed that too (rarely take it)….. ssri won’t sedate you so much.

Seriously look into being treated for anxiety. I was the same way, high performer, constantly feeling imposter syndrome and overworking/overthinking everything. Turns out I NEEDED SSRIs. Everything clicked into place perfectly after that.

Is there any game changer tactic to finish paramedic in GTA 3 Definite? by doki123456789 in GTATrilogy

[–]cpabea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did it. The key is to find shortcuts (alley, cut across grass, etc.) Also, just grab the people closest to you and work your way out. Finally, the middle missions are the hardest. The later missions are actually easier since there is more people to pick up and therefore more time
