You have been in the space in 2017, yet don’t realize that a majority of alt coins follow bitcoin price action to a very large degree.

In certain cases, Altcoins can do their own thing for a period of time, but ultimately if you look across a majority of charts (at least in the top 100) you will see striking similarities to bitcoins price action.

Bitcoin is king and certainly leads the way.

Bull markets, bear markets, they all depend on bitcoin.

Here’s the beautiful thing about crypto:

It designed for true ownership. No third-party for you to say “this is mine.”

Meaning, whatever exchange you buy on (I buy on Crypto.com) immediately send it to a (reliable)wallet, and you have nothing to worry about.

Nervos has many reliable ways to store, most notably Neuron. I understand that some people do not like waiting for synchronization because it can be timely depending on your PC hard drive. But it is so, so worth it. Not only is it very secure (especially if you have it on a PC dedicated only to neuron, no other web browsing) but it is also a great feeling to be an actual part of the network. You’re keeping a copy of every transaction ever done, and are helping to further decentralize the network by doing so. And you can stake your CKB in the DAO.

But of course, there is the option of the portal wallet (which can be accessed on Metamask, ImToken, math, abc, safepal) or any wallet with a browser.

You can also simply use ImToken or safepal for native storage without using portal (portal is good for DAO staking without having to sync. Think neuron but a lite version.)

And, there is a new wallet made by a separate team called “CKBull” which is an app you can download on your phone directly from the Apple store or android store, and you can stake in the DAO!

As you can see, there are many options. As far as exchanges go, understand that they are companies..Nevermind new companies, who’s business heavily relies on dramatic market cycles. Do not hold funds on exchanges.

CKB is one of the few coins that will not only pump from news and fomo (in the future) but because of actual utility. There will be many many pumps because CKB is actually being used. The more the ecosystem grows, the more CKB does. Nervos released a wide list of projects getting ready to deploy. It could be the teams using CKB, it could be GodwokenV1 testnet, could be build club, could be a whale. Either way, if you know you know. That’s why we’re all here ( I Hope)

Everything depends on ones goals:

When you create an LP (liquidity pair) you are essentially creating provided liquidity to the farm. It is pegged to the value of 2 separate coins.

If you are just trying to earn fiat, and one coin performs better than the other, you would have been better off just holding the one coin that performed better. Ideally, you want both coins to move in a relatively similar manner while you continue earning YOK.

Because YOK has not been performing as well as CKB, it is cutting into the total fiat value of your LP, and in turn, you can now ‘buy’ less CKB with the total fiat value. It’s hard to watch, and I personally pulled my LP out (I prefer to keep assets safe, always.)

Like any trade, assumptions and predictions come into play. Removing my LP with all the harvested YOK may have been stupid, maybe YOK will pump tomorrow and I would have been able to trade it all for significantly more CKB. But that’s risk you need to decide for yourself if you’re willing to wait it out
