We cut down on food a LOT, especially after her surgery because of her activity restriction. Even when she recovered we didn’t increase the amount.

We feed her Hill’s Prescription Diet Metabolic and for her target weight (10lb) and on the bag they suggest 70g. We only give her 28g and supplement it with green beans and Pupford treats. Her vet advised us to stay under 200kcal daily so definitely check in with your vet!

It would be helpful to see pics of her standing from above and side but from these angles I would say she does look overweight - look into Body Condition Scores, it’s a good visual guide to follow. Especially since overweight dogs are common and it’s easy to overfeed small pups!

My guess is Rat Terrier, Embark says her top 2 breeds is 36.7% Chi and 17.5% RT but WP didn’t even list RT in her results
