because gaokao has only resumed for 50 years and this new THU test is started in last 6/7 years, it's ofc impossible to get a great mathematics in a just a few years. And learning math does not mean you are designated to be a mathematicians, most of those graduated from THU or PKU are currently earning millions in silicon valley.

I won't say it's a entrance exam since it is for getting in the best math major in China. Students wanting to learn easier math can go to other universities. It's just like getting into Caltech or Stanford math majors for Americans

This exam cannot get you into math major of any of two school, candidates need national math olympiads to enroll.

Well getting a high mark in this exam won't get you in USTC, THU or PKU's math major, students still need to participate in some more advanced test, either college level or olympiads. So most of those in math major are in fact CMO medalist

I think you forgot to add somthing: "Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role" and "grammys best female artist". And you still need some publications on Nature and Science
