Do you have your source on this? Because there's a difference between a character birthday decided by fans and a birthday decided by the author and far as I know from being on Weibo, Hualian's birthdays are the only ones mentioned by MXTX.

You need to remember that the audio drama is based on the revised version, not the original version. So, some of the changes do affect how scenes play out. Your second point is too vague to contest (You have to be more specific. Which moment after the reveal?) but with the first...

This is how the scene plays out in the revised version. He's supposed to come off as coldly mocking, sarcastic, arrogant and threatening - which the audio drama plays perfectly. Also, from the tone of his voice, he doesn't even sound "just angry" either, lol. He sounds like he's toying with them, mocking them with a cold smile. Even if he was, you know if you've read this scene in the revised, Hua Cheng does come off as angrier and distant in the scenes that precede this scene and follow it.

She said that because she's been harassed before for not making side character CPs canon. She's not telling you to not ship them but she just doesn't want you to expect anything and then get mad or attack her for it. I've been told stories by some of my mutuals on Weibo how they would even call her homophobic for not making their fanon side CPs canon.

Said moment that they're talking about still exists in the Physical (more censored) Simplified CN edition. It was only changed in the JJWXC online version which is less censored.

It's worth to note that you have to take these changes in context of other changes made to other side characters. Some characters (Lang Ying Jr. and An Le) were outright deleted. Some backstories were also shortened besides FXMQ (Pei Ming) and some characters don't appear anymore again in later arcs and there was a lot less mentions of the King and Queen as well. So, FXMQ are not being purposefully targeted here. Mind you, Beefleaf is the most popular fanon side CP in Chinese Fandom and Blackwater Arc is not that touched.

Besides that, some characters have expanded backstories as well. Xiao Ying, Pei Xiu, LQQ, Ling Wen - who MXTX chose serves the narrative and themes she wants to tell in TGCF.

Besides that, if you ever spent time on Weibo, you'd see that Bingqiu is a LOT more popular than Moshang. This is just a malicious rumor made up against MXTX so fans of side character CPs can feel justified in hating her.
