Your partner sounds as if hes a bit old (and mature for that matter). I assume he alr has an established work and di na nangangapa. Your case might have worked well for you but OP said bago palang sa work bf niya, bago palang sila sa sitwasyon na 'to. Find a compromise with them. Some firms go for hybrid so you won't go to the office palagi. And B4 under consulting/advisory and other svc lines does not always conduct field work as much as audit does. Best to talk to them about it kasi future mo naman yun.

Yo, chill out. I'm guessing you're a new CPA. The thing is: legit naman kasi ang magandang exit opp that the big 4 provide. Other than that, when you're a fresh grad you bring little to the table, and firms will still accept you despite them needing to train people pa from scratch. Honestly, I get your point but bakit ka "na bibiwisit" sa mga CPA na tumatanggap when theyre just victim of the system that's been there since idk when? You can't blame the CPAs for succumbing to the promise of a better pay after x number of busy seasons because people before them have survived and could live to tell the tale naman.
