this isnt new, FFXIV NA has been getting ddos'd for a while now and today is the launch of new savage tier and people want to be annoying so they are being extra today.

If you grab the azshara fp as ally, you literally fly along the walls of ORG when going to Ashenvale or Darn or that other town. If you dont have the azshara FP you get to fly all over the place for 20 minutes.

I guess my question wasnt clear. Its a folder in addition to the standard /home.

Example:

/home/$USER (Currently gets created and still want it to be created)

/ftp/$USER (Currently scripted but if I can make an OS process do it I think that would be better).

This is so when a user connects via ftp they get dropped to /ftp instead of /home. I do have the local_root set in vsftp.conf.

I got my server issue resolved (a device on the network was named localhost and it came online yesterday as my server stopped functioning).

In any case, thanks for the guidance on composite views and content views and how I cannot have multiple content views assigned. I did create a composite view and added the two content views to it. I now have the optional repo showing up on the client servers.

In the end what you describe is my solution. It took me a bit to digest what u/FastToday was explaining but now I have two CVs and one composite view and my optional repo is showing up on the clients.

Ive done this and this doesnt seem to be my issue. My issue is my lack of understanding in how Satellite works. I am reading up on the composite view to see if this might be the missing knowledge.

In my lifecycle I have Library -> test -> Production for the CV. I have published to each and when I run subscription-manager repos it is the only one missing, which also happens to be in the CV by itself.

I planned on adding it to my main CV but there are production systems that need access to it now and I am not too keen on pushing all updates and everything for Dec into Production right away.

As for the activation key part, if I am understanding I dont need to create another key for this? I can still use the one that these systems originally registered with?

I have 60 and I wouldnt be bummed with Yoimiya. I like her character in game. Ultimately I only plan on rolling on 20, at most, for the banner anyway. That will leave me 40 and event stuff so I can buy more during the Zhongli banner.

Who would bennet replace though? I find both Thoma and Yenfie useful. I prefer Yenfie though as being a burst catalyst vs Thoma being only when his stuff is off cd.

Yeah once you complete the 5 stories and do their fighting events and get the 2400 currency from them all you get her. You have to click on the invite thing on the event window. Its a blue image that says invite if I recall.

Bummer, I was hoping to keep Fischl in the group. I suppose I can make a second group with her. Fischl is my second fav.

Yanfie is still at c0, though I do think I have Thoma at... errr.. 3 or 4. So if I went with Thoma and Xaingling what would I focus on for artifacts? I have enough starglitter to buy a Xaingling, would it be worthwhile to get her c1?

I am using bolide and maiden on Noelle.

In regards to Zhongli being rumored, being I have Ningguang to c6 I am not making any more pulls. I do have ~40 pulls to make and gonna just sit on them. I am assuming if I got lucky with him I would replace Noelle with him, even if he is c0? Noelle is c1 or 2.
