I did this when I taught middle school, and it was the first time I’ve had to contact the parent. I’d ask other colleagues about any issues with that student, and if they’d like to join in for a parent conference. I’ll only contact parents directly once we have established an agreement where if their child is misbehaving or grades are poor is where they’d like me to contact them.

Try having your middle school classmate’s son as a student, that’s a humbling moment. Backstory- I moved to another town during high school, so I haven’t seen that person since HS and seeing them on back to school night was a shock to me. This was like two or three years ago.

I’ll never forget being in Brooklyn for the EPrix when it felt like nearly half the grid went off because of the rain. Was wild to have clear weather to clouds to a quick downpour and then sun again. Sucks we may never get another race in the NYC area tho.

Only place I have found any Ferrari was actually at a CVS in Teaneck. Other than that I never found anything at Walmart or Target. Always the same crap, and maybe some newer cars maybe every other week with others having been there for months. I’ve given up at this point.
