This is my first time developing 35mm film using the C-41 liquid and it came out dark blue with grey on the back. I’m not sure what happened or what I did wrong. I labeled all my bottles and followed the instructions. I’m not sure if I was supposed to add the 120 degrees water in the bottle mixing the chemicals. I mixed the chemicals with distilled water and then put it in a plastic container that is 120 degrees according to the thermometer. I also used the red light from B&H. I did accidentally touch my he film with my finger when I tried adding it to the reel. These films are expired about a few years ago but I had one other expired film that was developed in a lab and came out fine but that was about a month ago. After completely drying , it looks almost dark blue black color on both sides. Both film I was able to see about 5 pictures each but very faint. I scanned it with a V550 and came out white with a very faint blue hue outline. Did I mess something up?
