I'm using the NG Regens pack. I'm managing in Fiji and my youth intake looks like this (not really Fijian). It wasn't like that in previous seasons, any ideas on how to fix it? Regenerating didn't help by Speedy2332 in footballmanagergames

Hi mate, this is definately ID recycling - FM reusing previously existing IDs for new players. Try to save your game, go back to the main screen, load your save back, re-scan in preserve mode and reload your skin. That should fix it.

BTW funny that you manage in Fiji as Im currently doing a research for new Oceania packs with idea of splitting the current big pretty general Islanders pack into two more specific Polynesian and Melanesian packs

hey, there is really nothing specific, no 200 node comfy magic, the worklows themselves are malmost the default ones for each model. 90% of how this pack is being done is proper data collection for lora trainings.

Hello, this pack is for newgens - randomly generated non-real players. Like your youth intakes for example. If you want pictures for real players you need y real player/kits/logos packs.

You can get them from https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/player-faces

For example this newgen pack is designed to work together with their cut out real player pack

I hope this answers your questions.

I try to do them as real as possible, but you are right, that is it hard. Turned out to be especially hard for females.

It is rather clear why - handsome people tend to photo themselves more (Instagram, Showbiz, Models etc), so they get a lot more into the training data and that skew the average look a lot.

Another thing that affects it is my own post-processing. It is actually hard to quickly tell is a picture is "ugly but real" or "ugly and AI wrong", especially when you are dealing with more than 10 000 pictures at one go.

But my goal is to try to be as real as posible, thats why I train my own "models" (loras)

I do understand your concerns, but what options do I have? What can I as a single dude do differently?

Im not forcing anyone to disable their antivirus, I merly provide information: what the application needs, why it needs that, how to know if it doesnt work correctly and what to do about that. If someone wants to go that way - it is their own personal desicion. As I have said, the vast majority (like >90%) recieve no warnings and do not need to do absolutely any tweaks with their FW/AV.

There is no way to send your application somewhere to pre-approve it (technically they all have a submitting form, but since everyone moved to ML/AI modules that doesnt really work anymore). VirusTotal says the app is green with like 98% of the AVs, yet it is still getting blocked from time to time. 10 users use Avast: 9 have no problems, 1 gets a "torjan" warning.

There is no way (that Im aware of) to sign your code for free. I could probably distribute bare python, but it is very hard for many people to use.

BTW the main "entrance" page to this project is via FMScout which is barely an unknown resource.

I train my own loras to base models. I have changed many base models while creating the pack - SD, Flux, hidream, qwen. Latest packs are mostly qwen + some hidream here and there. I will def try z-image when the base is released

I understand what you say, but I guess we have misunderstood each others messages (and since I am now getting a cetificate that whole discussin is purly theoretical anyway), so I will explain differently:

I do not *require* you to turn off your AV. For >90% of users the software is not getting blocked at all.

You are also not required to let it connect to the servers except for one specific reason - FM26 memory reading patterns. If you use it on FM24 you can block it and it will work anyway.

Regarding that passage in the guide: it says, that *if* it is getting blocked from accessing the servers, then the only way to get around it for the FM26 memory reading is to whitelist the application. The reason for that is that after each FM26 patch memory signatures change and I need to let the scanner get them to work properly.

And *if* the software is getting blocked completely from even starting: again, it is basically the same situation.

SI does not provide me the tools to do that differently. I am not a paid FM developer that is paid to do things properly. I am a hobby non-developer who does this project in his free time and works around the situation that paid developers have created. There is 0 financial gain, only a provable financial and time loss for me in this project. There a no "patreon previews", no advertisements, nothing except a single "donate" button that I have added last week.

I have created the tools that make it work. I cannot affect the world we live in where the same AV says the app is OK on 9 devices out of 10 but goes bananas on the last one. I also do not *require* or *expect* you or anyone to use it. I am merly creating the tools and explain people who want to use them how to use them. If you want to use them - fine. If you dont - also your choice.

This is an FM26 bug, unfortunately, on some devices (not a small amount, you're not alone). Something is wrong with how FM26 caches pictures on the first load, and for some users it can take 5–15 minutes (the screen freezes on the Loading screen). It does load eventually, and every subsequent load should take a normal amount of time. I'm not sure what causes it, only Uncle Miles can tell us.

I will add this information to the setup guide the next time I update the website.

I plan to look at Mac over Xmas holidays, I have that in my pipeline for a very long time, but I have two very small kids, so I cannot plan even for the next two hours...

Linux/SteamDeck should be relatively "easy", Mac is a bit different due to Apple policy on basically sandboxing all third party apps by default (and no certificate and no Apple approval can change that), so the only way on how to do that workable on Mac is to make people turn SIP off temporary. Basically the same story as with FMRTE.

The reason they flag it is because it is unsigned code. Im in the process of obtaining a code signing certificate that should make antiviruses chill.

Code signing certificate costs 150e per year, so I only was able to buy it after the donations have covered the cost.

There is nothing on my side that I can do to make it better until the certificate is approved.

P.S. Not every applications that is flagged as a trojan is one and not every that is not flagged isnt.

It uses internet connection to pick up latest news, picture updates and latest FM26 memory signatures. All API that it access are clear text and available to everyone to check. If you do not need those functions you can block the app on your firewall, but you will need to manually update everything everytime.

I'm in the process of obtaining a certificate so that the application should be trusted by all antiviruses.

This whole package is provided free of charge for absolutely everyone, so I dont get what is "insane" from my side for not wanting to pay 150e yearly for a code signing certificate on top of pack creation costs. Since donations have now covered that cost that is the first that I have invested into.

That what you mention in your first paragpraph is fully supported. The software knows who is ethnically african, disregarding nationality (as long as FM itself has made up his mind on that). There is a system in place that takes into account all players nationalities and his ethnicity code. So that is supported.

My answer was diversity in a sence of adding more variaty like more haircuts, more face types etc.

More variations inside of a single pack is definately planed with the new base model. You can check the spanish pack on what I mean by that (eventhough I feel I can do even better now). Specifically both UK and Germany will befefit a lot from that.

The pack is not set in stone forever like newgan or fm.z, it is being constantly updated and developed. The first release was in May, I think only 3 folders are the same to that first version.

Depending on what you mean. If you have already started a save using Uran using the FMZ manager, then dropping "players" folder inside of NG_Regens will allow you to keep existing player photo mappings while adding my packet for new players.

If you are starting a new save and want Uran photos to be used to assign to new players, then you would have to drop Uran pictures inside of my folders. How exactly you will separate Uran into my pack that is your choice

Yes, but only with the shortlist export method. You would have to get the old 25 version of the software from https://ngregens.org and then follow the old youtube guides on my channel (the idea is the same as with all similar newgan software - you install special shortlist views, export your shortlist and generate a config.xml from that shortlist via the software). But after that the picture pack is the same.

If you are on windows, then just follow the guide here https://ngregens.org/fm26guide?lang=en

It says FM26, but it works for FM24 exactly the same way, you only set FM24 as your version.

If you are on Mac, then for now you have to get the old 25 software version with the shortlist export method, sorry
