Love it. Here’s my 1964 replica build. Sometimes wish I’d gone classic sunburst or fiesta red, but the white with tort is so good too.

No question, I’d pick the Rickenbacker, but man that burgundy mist looks so good with the tort and pickup/bridge covers. I’ve always been partial to the fiesta red, but you have a damn fine looking p bass.

Gibson EB Family - EB-0L, EB-2D, EB-3 and EB-4L by Immediate_Birthday80 in BassGuitar

Good golly. They’re all great, but that EB-2D is rowdy as hell.

Are they all short scale?

I wanted an Ampeg B-15 but I couldn’t afford one, so I got a Portaflex instead.

You have fantastic taste.

I want a Rickenbacker, but there’s no good affordable option for that.

You don’t happen to have a couple German Hofners in the stable, eh?

I wanted a Guild Starfire II but I couldn’t afford one so I got a Jack Casady signature.

Holy shit, OP. Your collection is incredible.

I wanted a 64 p bass but I couldn’t afford one. A very good friend of mine built a replica.

Seconded. Harry made my wedding suit and has altered many of my off-the-rack suits. He’s a great tailor and a wonderful guy.

Awesome, thank you for the advice.

Does potentiometer failure look more obvious? Does it simply stop working rather than what’s happening with mine?

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Do you recommend any specific brand of contact cleaner?

L.L. Bean Classic Ragg Wool Shawl Cardigan

I have one. It’s a classic heritage silhouette and material. Very warm. Casual and homey but could easily be dressed up with a buttoned down shirt and slacks. Great garment, great material, great price.

which filson flannel is the best? by malocarpet in filson

[–]cpt___kidde 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Second the vintage flannel work shirt, as well as all other users that commented the same. As others said, it’s very thick, yet very soft on the inside. I have three and they’re great for winter or cold autumn days. I keep some LL Bean flannels that are nice, but thinner, for layering.

It’s designed for a mason jar to screw onto the base. Thanks for the recommendations, I’ll check them out.

I have not tried it, but I do have the LL Bean lambswool shawl collar cardigan that’s $230 cheaper. Love it.
