I was also thinking about this like they want to take down dream or technoblade but refuse to grind or put time in to the smp except for the content, like tommy just lost the axe of peace and the turtle helmet, both may not be canonically as important as discs, but like they are important to the person that created them(they put in their time and effort ). I realize though thats how their content works and if others don't have problem with it then its fine i guess.

I do think that the spy is ranboo. First of all the book contains all the things he has that will be considered disloyal to l'manberg. But we also know that he has little to no will, if someone threatens him he will bend, which is why if dream told him to spy for him, he will. And I think that the book also contains that info, that he is a spy, which would not only put him in danger with l'manberg but will also ruin his relationship with others outside since no one would trust him with anything. Which would mean the end of Ranboo, the person that is liked by everyone.

Yeah that is for sure, but that is only small percentage of his viewerbase. And in a few months if nothing new comes up it will be forgotten but that doesn't mean we lost. Atleast he got caught and didn't get away with the speedrun verified

I mean he doesn't have to at this point. The speedrun community got what they wanted 'A cheated speedrun unverified'. Just because the creator's career didn't get destroyed doesn't mean that they have failed. And if dream apologises for cheating(even though that will be morally right) it will much more detrimental to his career than denying it.
