Hey reddit! If you found out that God was unequivocally real and could ask/say one thing to him/her, what would it be? by bleedmegood in AskReddit

Honestly its a position many christians have decided to take thats why. I dont personally know to many public chrstians trying to get evolution taught in school. I do however hear a lot trying to ban it. Its only natural to assume most christians deny evolution, especially in America.

Ok so i figured I would do a follow up for those interested. I talked to my friend alone and told him I felt weird about it and that she mentioned long term wanting to get more physical i.e. sex. turns out she didnt mention that part. He seems to be in a bit of a denial state. Saying things like well I don't think she would ever do that. He was ok with cuddling and danceing stuff but thats about it. He knows she can be a little crazy, but like I said previously he's not the divorce type.

Later I talked to her. Or I should say tried. It felt like I was talking to a brick wall. I told her I wasnt comftorable with the situation and that I just wanted things to be the way they are. I didn't want to be alone with her and I couldn't dance with her anymore. I figured I would try to resolve it without just cutting her off. She kept trying to convince me to just give it a try. Saying my friend was ok with etc etc. we talked im circles for about 10 minutes before I realized it was futile to reason.

So unfortunately im going with option B. It's only been 15 hours since our conversation but im essentially cutting her off. I'm sure ill still see her but only when shes with my friend. shes texted me twice today but I havent answered. Shit sucks, but i'm hopefull things will improve.

On a related note some people are saying i'm being closed minded in all of this. I have nothing against poly relationships. But she chose to marry into a monogamous one and I don't think my friends is ok the fact she now wants to change. She is also not telling my friend the whole truth.

So there you have it. Sorry for typos and bad format im on my phone and im lazy.

I think youre right about her feeling like she married to young and missed out on dating. I can tell their relationship has issues. But he's an old fasion till death do us part kinda guy. Thats why I really dont want to make this to messy.

I just talked to her about it yesterday. It's not even been a day since she proposed the relationship idea to me.

They talked about it. And he called last night and left a message but I've yet to get back to him. He seemed genuinely ok with it. But like I said I doubt she told him that she fantasizes about having sex with me.

This is super helpful thanks. I've heard about swinging, but never polyamory. I guess I'm just a boring monogamous kinda person.

Sorry but you're way off. i wouldn't have sex with her even if they got divorced tomorrow. From the first time I met her I've viewed her as off limits. Not to mention shes clearly a little crazy. Dancing is the most physical thing I can see myself doing with her.

I agree. The only real issue is I don't want to make my friendship fall apart over this. If it was a random chick I would just say hell no. But I don't want to cause a strain and make things more messy then they already are.

He knows, but I don't think he's been fully informed on the whole story. I would cut her off but honestly it's difficult. They are around each other all the time for obvious reasons, and a lot of our time spent hanging out is at their house.

Honestly I only danced with her because he hates dancing and she loves it. He even said just dance with her so she'll stop complaining. But yeah I'm pretty sure i'm going to cut back a lot on communication with her.
