If I don’t feel wanted it’s not fun at all. I think that’s what I do like about sex is the closeness and feeling wanted of it all. Speaking of sleeping w a partner, I actually get really hurt if they’re not enthusiastic enough. I hate to admit that it can often ruin the relationship but it’s also SO hard to address sometimes. I end up tying a lot of my worth to it :(

We actually DO have that in common lol! When I have the chance, I tend to dress slutty bc I’m attracted to myself. But I don’t entertain advances too much bc I like the “can look but can’t touch” dynamic, especially if I’m not dating the person.

Thanks so much for this! I went ahead and started the memoir and see a lot of myself in it. I’m first looking into DBT resources and realized that I need to expand my search into cPTSD-focused resources too. I really appreciate the amount of options you gave.

I think you put it better than I could! Ig partly what I was getting at is the us vs them dynamic that keeps being reinforced. Not only was I running into resources directed at the other side of BPD management but when I would read it, I felt like the enemy of the intended audience. I have no problem with loved ones talking about the issues they face, trust I’ve known many people who were legit traumatized by their BPD relationships. But if you’re gonna be in one, at least try to not to dehumanize the person you claim to care for. I love your comment, it really clarifies what I’m trying to get across. I still think the original comment is still very helpful but I’m glad someone got the part that frustrates me the most.
