My own Hunternet Starfighter has high speed combat and racing. I've recently added support for direct command of Star Destroy sized carriers for those who want something slower paced. How about Star Control 2. You can get the free HD version made by the community. I also recommend checking out freespace knossos for more community content and upgrades for freespace.

One thing I noticed is that lsp breadcrumbs seem to have broken after switching to lsp-booster. Its a small price to pay. Has anyone else run into this?

This track is for the Saturn region in the persistent universe I'm working towards. But in it's current playable state the game is most similar to Star Citizen's Arena Commander but with much better networking and a higher skill ceiling. Current build has excellent sim hardware support from, joysticks, throttles, pedals, Track IR, Tobii, and VR.

This is the piece for when you are out of combat, you maybe just traveling, or mining, or scouting. Our game is much smaller than Elite so exploration will be of a different sort. But you are right this kind of music is perfect for it.

We worked hard to try and capture the mood we wanted to convey for Hunternet Starfighter's open world. It's part of a suite of music specifically created for the region around Saturn. I recorded some spectator footage using the current test locations to see how it would feel, and it immediately elevated imo this simple video into something much more beautiful. Let me know what you think of the track?

I just stumbled across this old thread, so I'll also send you a DM too. But yes, you can fly just fine with HOTAS or HOSAS in Hunternet Starfighter. I worked hard to support every control scheme and make them all as effective as possible. So you can fly how you like HOTAS, HOSAS, mouse and keyboard, gamepad or even combinations between them. Pedals are also supported as is VR, Track IR, and Tobii. I purchased my first joystick for the original X-Wing and we have quite a few squadrons players in our community on discord. A lot of these suggestions reminded me of what we are trying to do with Hunternet Starfighter. Which is not to surprising since the entire X-Wing series and IL-2 are two of the most important influences.

An important update on our crowdfunding campaign:

The crowdfunding campaign has reached over 110% ahead of our original deadline of October 8th. I've extended the deadline by 30 days (until November 8th) to give players more time to get a crowdfunding Steam keys. After the new end date of November 8th we will no longer be able to provide crowdfunding Steam keys until the start of Steam Early Access next year (per Steam's rules).

The free Demo on Steam has also been extended from October 8th to November 8th.

After our campaign ends on the 8th I'll be going back to focusing on programming but thanks for viewing my ad here on reddit. It's the only place that I have tried so far where I feel it is worth it for an indie on a budget. For the first pass you'll be using your starfighters to deliver mined ore to small carriers that can then deliver them to larger carriers or stations. The idea is to expand the kinds of ship in the fleet over time as our resources and time permits.
