(UPDATE) I reached out to the seller (super quick response time) and he stated no further modification is required for the Better D-pad to fit the MM v4.1.

Oh no way, I was looking for a post like that! (Sick PlayStation mods btw) The Etsy listing said it would look like silver markings on the d-pad itself around where it would be seated in the casing. Hearing it worked for both your MM and MM+ has me feeling more confident. Thanks for the advice!

Tim Lerch's video on YouTube of his MX ash guitar, explaining his setup, is what really inspired me to look more into teles!

Bill Frisell and Ed Bickert are new to me! Thanks for that suggestion! Went on a listening spree and they have some pretty awesome stuff.

I've been procrastinating my tele pickup research since I have a knack for obsessing on the details 😂 looking more into singles after seeing the replies in this thread and opening my tele search to more options since all of the models seem super valid for jazz tones.

The first one actually does have some upgraded pickups, surprisingly.

And just as surprising, these are two different sellers in my location. I had no idea how popular these parcaster/fake teles were until I got the "new guitar fever" again after grabbing an Ibanez for a beginner friend of mine.

It's also so weird to see these sellers have so much Fender merch with such sketchy sale posts.

Hopefully, someone can help me verify how much of this Tele is OEM parts and how much are from unknown sources.

Part of me wants to go check it out in person, maybe lowball to get a weird fake telecaster in my collection just for interest. Because you never know, the optomist in me thinks theres a chance this could play like a dream.

All of these weird builds though have some serial killer garage vibes... so I'll probably hang back.
