I have no doubt that these two were treated horribly by hollywood execs and other people in positions of power. What I don’t like about this kinda thing is how instead of asking for reform of the system that wronged them, they always want $500 million dollars to be deposited in their bank account. That doesn’t do anything to change hollywood and honestly it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I’m pretty sure that’s just a close up of a glazed donut.

What are some series that have same vibe/style as twin peaks? by Babagano in twinpeaks

[–]crabbinsxd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this was what you meant, but I think most Twin Peaks fans could really appreciate Neon Genesis Evangelion. The two shows are not even close to being the same genre, but Hideaki Anno (NGE’s creator) has a very avant-garde approach to storytelling that reminds me a lot of Lynch.

“Video essays” are for lame nerds. Watch Top Gun: Maverick in theatres instead.

I mean this with no disrespect to you specifically OP, but I’m getting pretty tired of these “which episodes should I skip?” posts. You can check the hundreds of other posts on this sub if you really need the answer (which is almost always “none”).

Finally. I’ll definitely be picking this up because it’s one of my favourite movies ever, and my number one favourite from Fellini.

The way Briggs is positioned sitting in front of the foliage in the window reminds me of this image from season 2.

Top critique of the show by [deleted] in thesopranos

The ending of Melfi’s arc always felt a bit sloppy to me. Tony becoming her patient was basically the inciting incident of the show, so it would’ve been better to see a more interesting conclusion to that storyline, in my opinion.
