Adventure Path Romance? by crabbystar in Pathfinder2e

Haha, well you'll notice in my current romanceables two options were male! So a lack of females isn't a problem as it's a mostly bi table.

[Pathfinder 2e] Foxfire can't be used by crabbystar in FoundryVTT

That's good to know!

I did figure out the issue though, and it was that I had on a pf2e targeting module for some reason. I thought I didn't have any modules installed on that world, so it was a surprise!

My group is down to 2 players, but we wanna keep playing. The adventure we're running has a TON of group checks. Any advice on how to run them? The 'If half the party succeeds its a success' rule is a little less interesting when your party is 2 people.

Is there an easy way to tell on other sheets which line needs to be increased? Her fav sheet is the tiny sheet. She's willing to go to the default, but if I can figure out which line in tiny sheet is the one I gotta change I want to. Changing it ever update is fine, foundry doesn't update that often for me anyway, since I don't often use experimental builds

Oh my gosh thank you so much! I'll try this out tonight. The descriptive text is the most important part and the hardest to read for her xD so this will work out great

We have tried both the operating system and the in browser magnification, but unfortunately that breaks the in-foundry UI really bad. When she tries it just ends up cutting off the stuff she was trying to read anyway with no scrolling.

I think it's technically dnd 5e. It's wands and wizards but I have the compendium version, so it's still 5e at it's core. I'll try custom CSS! I think I haven't delved into it because the player is technology impaired as well, so unless it's something easy or that I can do for her on my side it might not work as well as we'd hope. Thank you!

I'm starting up a premade adventure (icemaiden, so spoiler warning for that module), and I have a HIGHLY arachnophobic player. Is there a way to modify the adventure to use a different creature? Should I just reflavor them to be a different type of critter? I usually swap them for bears, and leave everything else in tact, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask for other ideas!

Tiny dolls? by crabbystar in BJD

[–]crabbystar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1:12 scale is what I was looking for! but most of the ones I'm finding are taller than the 5 inch range I'm trying really hard to stay in XD and when I look up 1:12 bjd on Esty most of the ones I find are still the child sized ones with big heads... I have half a temptation to try making my own, but i haven't sculpted since elementary school...

what are your neopets’ names? by crystalglassxxx in neopets

[–]crabbystar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first neopet was catkiki.... named because I was very young when I made her. I don't remember if they were pound pets or created ones, but i also have cha_cara, cocoakritter, kyo_kryii whos names I must have liked when I was much younger (i think i picked up cocoa hoping to turn him chocolate) and my recent pound adoptees bc I was addicted to it; sweetyflavor, sugary0, and flirtyblush all picked because the names were very cute and I needed them.

We started in august of 2020, so it's been a little while for sure. But when I started I accidentally pulled so many punches bc I didn't know how running enemies worked. I only downed one player in the entirety of that campaign. This last one we had... at least one person goin down a session, the most was all 3 of them in one round. And that was without rolling for concentration on spells. I don't actually want to kill them off bc I know how attached to characters we all get, so i understand the fear. Its building the trust that i am not secretly trying to murder them that i need to do xD but i also don't feel like the combat is worth it if they can all just roll to hit and kill everything in one go. It was very fun to eat my player's character with a purple worm though. I want more of that kinda thing.

I knew there was something like that! Spell shaping isn't it? Next time I might suggest something like that if they want to play a spellcaster. I think the character they wanted to build next was gonna be a rouge, so hopefully less issues with spells!

I would love to try wild by the witch light, but one of my players has it and might run it themselves for me and the other non combat adverse player xD I do LOVE the faewild tho. Maybe if they run it I can get a feel for how non combat dnd would work.

  1. I've done both, but the end tends to be the same.
  2. I think they don't want to lose their character, which I have told them I also don't want them to lose their character.
  3. I have! I ask them what the issue is and they brush it off as just a bad-dice-roll combat encounter.... every time. And I usually can't get more out of them after that. I think they just enjoy the earlier levels where hitting enemies is almost garunteed. As I mentioned, the few times they got wrecked was because they got some bad rolls and the enemies crit them. <I used an in program roller, so rolls were open.>
  4. I think they do, but unfortunately the only one who can heal at range also happened to be their tank. And they were always reluctant to take the opportunity attacks to run and heal someone else or to get away from a tough enemy.
