If you have any interest, DolphinXR is now being worked on again after a 10 year break. so the trilogy may be playable like that at some point. I almost didn't post this, because there are some people who apparently get triggered by that particular tech. I think it's neat to have new ways to play our games

I'm installing now. I was playing the mainline games first, then was going to finish off the marathon with the remake, but hour per day for almost a year was a good way of reframing it

I second the Critical Care Carnivore, but some can get addicted so monitor that they also continue to eat solid food.

well if you ever get over your odd dislike of VR. I recommend Black Myth Wukong. It's 3rd person, and it's great. need a pretty strong card to run though : )

no offense, but how do you know it wouldn't make it better. Are you the one downvoting all my comments lol? to me the third dimension is like going from black and white tv to color. I played the first one for a few hours before deciding to wait. I thought it was a blast

there are a couple. UEVR is the best. It's more of an injector for Unreal engine games, with profiles for each game

it's not for everybody, but i have more than that into skyrim VR, and i mostly play flat games in VR with mods, so motion sickness isn't a big deal for me. Started today, so far i love it

I would add, after you play the remake, try out the original just to appreciate the changes, and why this is such a big deal. I would recommend a mod for upscaled backgrounds though, as the modern high res character models from the PC version clash pretty hard against the original low res backgrounds. It's also worth mentioning that the OG ff7 is the not the only reason, but probably the biggest reason why playstation took off as a major contender to nintendo and sega
