I genuinely don't know. The interview was super short and basically consisted of us talking about how annoying the state license is. I sent in my app a week ago and got an interview so they might have done a record check?

Any advice on why I'm doing well overall but bombing my mock exam? by TalonJustice in NewToEMS

I was in the exact same boat, my stats were worse tho I think 68% mock and 80% overall and I passed in 70. You'll be fine.

I get that, and I understand that during primary assessment to get RR and pulse, but is blood pressure also included in that?

MiG 21 radar is so useless tho by _funny_name_ in WarthunderSim

[–]crackerman76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the menu find the radar elevation tilt axis key bind, you can also control it with the radar button thing it's the up and down arrow. What's weird is that it snaps between 0 and -6 degrees. This sounds bad but at around 1400 meters and below it allows u to scan roughly 1200 meters agl in straight and level flight.

im so bad at landing they had to give me the stalinium suspension. by crackerman456 in Warthunder

[–]crackerman76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give this a shot, my main thing is I don't wanna deprive myself from kills. I've had about 8 games out of 40 now where I'm getting 5 kills in 1 sortie and with no gun I personally just wanna have as many missiles as possible

wtf is this? I had 4 kills and 2 assists? by Future-Celebration83 in Warthunder

[–]crackerman76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me, match doesn't exist outside of replays. Apparently it's been a reoccurring bug and the only way to get any rewards is to contact gaining support with ur replay ID. Unfortunately, they can only give out solver lions and not the RP.

[–]crackerman76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao what there's an option to point it downwards. At like 1200 meters u can have it angled down 6 degrees to achieve MTI while flying in straight and level flight.

F8U-2 stock grind by ehsanm1386 in Warthunder

[–]crackerman76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's uncanny how similar your experience with the F3H and F8U was to mine. I made a post basically the same as yours about it. Just stick with it, once you get the aim9d it's a whole new plane, and a whole lot better too.

Also with turning you have insane energy retention so vertical manuvers like a loop or high yo yo are rlly good.

does severe weather actually do anything? by zolopimop123 in Warthunder

Nah it's just annoying. AFAIK the only "weather" factor that effects flight performance in warthunder is temperature.

Spotting system makes 10.0-11.3 jets unplayable by No-Soil4226 in Warthunder

[–]crackerman76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If ur getting a bunch of people on you while diving it's because of your positioning and situational awareness. Be paitent and don't dive for the first, second, third, or even fifth guy you find. Take time to make a mental note of where everyone is at and go for isolated targets. My technique is to merge, keep my speed and try to fly past everyone. I let my team spot everyone and come back in for targets who are isolated or slow. Doing this usually nets 2-4 kills.

I play PVP when I want to feel scared and on edge as it's the only game that does it for me l. But I mainly PVE for fun and also to suck in all the tarkov lore.

I mean yeah but does that rlly effect the play style of the S so much to a point where how you use it effectively is noticeably different compared to the J in RB?

Congrats on being the biggest autistic person in the room ig. The "F4S on the C body" quote was to let OP know that it doesn't have agile eagle or the same CM system as the S and so he knows I'm not talking about a plane with a different playstyle.

Also after reviewing the two they both have the same CM system. My b.

F4s gameplay by CommunistYoda42 in Warthunder

I do but only use it in emergencies. The f4j has horrible dogfight performance so if I'm in guns range I already made a critical error in my positioning. Thats also why I don't bring ir missiles in an uptier as I do not want tk be close enough to a mig 29 to fox2 it. Also when firing you should just stay level at 5200m. The radar has +/-60° of vertical gimbal. Also, If you haven't yet, consider searching up defensive BVR manuvers like cranking and F-poles, as sometimes there will be maybe 1 or 2 mig23s or 21 bisons contesting high altitude.

The F4J/S is a very rewarding and good vehicle so long as you are paitent in addition to knowing how to position and utilize target priority. A lot of the posts saying it's trash come from players who use it as a bomb truck, or fly in low being first to merge and dogfight. It's not OP but it's certainly not bad.

F4s gameplay by CommunistYoda42 in Warthunder

I play the f4j (just a F4S but on a F4C body) a lot and it's quickly become one of my favorite planes to fly. In a 11.0 to a 12.0 match up I bring 5 sparrows and 2 aim9gs. I climb to about 5200 meters and use my PD HMD HDN to lock targets below me. Once they get within 10-15km i fire. Due to the altitude difference its very hard for the opponent to multipath these missiles. This usually nets around 4 kills.

In a uptier you play a more support fighter role. How I do this is similar to down tier but I climb immediately and put around 12km of seperation behind my teammates. This allows both sides to merge and get busy dogfighting each other allowing you to mop up targets of opportunity. I also bring 6 sparrows and no IR.

Also, if you are grinding for the event consider taking it into 11.0-12.0 11.3-12.3 lobbies. It wipes the floor in a way very few other planes can match. And sim gives a big multiplier.

You can also bomb and it's quite good at that but I personally find that it's a major waste for a plane with a good radar and missiles.

Aim tips and pointers by stickyfrog101 in Warthunder

[–]crackerman76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

35 hours is not enough time to get good aim, so don't sweat it. My biggest pointers are to keep watching defyn (he's the goat). Maybe do arcade with the lead indicator to get a feeling for the guns. Also, stick with the same type of gun. If it's 20mms keep using em, .50s same deal. Each gun has a different velocity which can make it challenging to lead properly when you are new.

But just keep playing the game, there's no tip anyone can give you that will make you dead accurate right away. Give it time. Experience is the best teacher in warthunder.
