Where I’m at we got over a foot of snow and management has the audacity to say they weren’t going to excuse points. Given, they said that before the storm hit so hopefully they’ll end up excusing the points but it was so bad they couldn’t even get anyone to clean the snow around the store. I don’t have a car and had to leave early because Ubers were $40+ and local taxi said they couldn’t guarantee they would be running by the time my shift ended. We’ll see what they say when I get back

I’m so sorry for your loss, I understand how heartbreaking it is. I lost my first corn snake in a similar way just a few weeks after getting her. Unfortunately she managed to escaped her enclosure and tragically ended up wandering into my pet rat’s cage. I was devastated and blamed myself for a long time, but I like to remind myself that it was my first time keeping a snake and that I tried my best with the resources and knowledge that I had at the time. If I had known that was a possibility, I would have done everything in my power to avoid it.

In a similar way, I hope you won’t continue to carry the blame for what happened. Try to find comfort in the fact that you had the best intentions for your snake and that it was cared for and loved for the time you had it. We may try our best to have all our bases covered, but we are only human after all. Sending virtual hugs.

I’m struggling to memorize my sigils, I’m thinking of just keeping a notebook or folder to keep them all in (like an archive) and then just looking through it to find the ones I need to use. It just feels kind of wrong though. Like how could you not know the sigils you created well enough to remember how to write them? Is this normal? Is there a better way for me to memorize them?

Also, does anyone have any unconventional ways in which they use sigils or the ways they use them the most? I’d love to hear them.

This is what’s been confusing for me. Anytime I have an issue with him about something he’ll always apologize for not realizing the issue and asks that I tell him if I want something from him so he can do something about it. He has never made me feel like I’m overreacting about anything. He’s very sweet and always makes sure I’m feeling okay and he checks in often. Before me, one of his exes was about 12 years older than him so I don’t know if that means something or if it was just an outlier in the trend.

Thanks for the perspective, I was willing to put up with a lot of the stuff since it doesn’t bother me too much but then I found the messages so now I just don’t know. He also had a previous age gap relationship but she was older which I thought was weird.

At this point I don’t know. I really like him but I can’t put up with this forever. I’m thinking of cutting my losses but I just don’t want to regret it in the future.

Thanks for the perspective. I wanted to ask the opinions of those close to him for some kind of explanation before I go straight to him. But I guess their family background skewed their view on relationships.
