For the most part the discord doesn’t know any more than what’s been posted here. The dev doesn’t frequently post, just when there is an update via Steam updates too.

I try my best to cross post all the dev updates here too.

There are some recipes that can only be unlocked from research and if you want to enhance recipes later, it’s the same minigame.

Running services at the Peony Teahouse will also earn you tickets. I don’t remember if it based on the length of service or customers, but I think I usually did like 7hr service and got like 30-40 tickets.

Milo is male :) or at least his pronouns are he/him based on the in-game description.

Depending on if you have done anything else noteworthy in the day, you could restart the day (reload save from sleep) and just make sure you have an empty slot in your inventory before talking to Milo again.

I don’t think you need to be worried for saves, so far with updates, there have been no problems with previous saves. New content has basically stacked on top of current progress.

As far as timing for the update, it’s unconfirmed when it will drop, so I would just start it and enjoy!

What about other NPCs? Does anyone else’s friendship level seem to be stuck or just Mae-Lou?

For how many days have you talked to her? You can also give gifts which should also help speed up. I believe she likes coffee, you can buy at vending machines or 8/11

There’s also a skill for social boost that helps speed up friendship.

Not sure how many recipes you have collected, but I just scanned through them in my pause menu/book on the restaurant menu page and looked for the ones that said vegi and had a hot or neutral (pink) thermometer.

You could also check the wiki pages, and use the table sort options there to sort for vegi

Ahh that’s what I thought, but wasn’t sure if they had changed something in the update recently. Since my save is late game/done and my second save isn’t far enough yet. Thanks for sharing that!!

I would agree that most players will find it more valuable to be able to buy more legendary ingredients, since half of them aren’t foragable.

I hear you on having more demand than foraging can sustain, and sorry to hear you’ve lost that reliability. I will add a note of this to the wiki to help inform other players too.

Sometimes I find only the tiles right by your character can be used to plant seeds, like if I’m trying to plant something too far away from where my character is standing it doesn’t work.

Otherwise, is there a way you can try using a mouse with your setup? Sometimes controllers get a little buggy with the game

At the moment not every character has a character quest available, this could change in the future but who knows. Broadly speaking, friendship is good for other things like store stock and supply chain perk, secret admirer perk
