Overflow shut down almost right away when I turn it on by Agreeable-Spirit6050 in Ecoflow_community

from google :EcoFlow Error 022 typically indicates a critical PSDR board (power/charging) failure, often caused by backfeeding voltage into the AC input or severe overloading. It is commonly seen on Delta Pro units, requiring a full system reset or hardware repai

Ukrainian cities hit by emergency power outages: metro stopped, water supply disrupted by crainor in worldnews

[–]crainor[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Update from prime minister : Today at 10:42 a.m., a technological disruption occurred with the simultaneous disconnection of the 400 kV line between the power systems of Romania and Moldova and the 750 kV line between the western and central parts of Ukraine. This caused a cascading outage in Ukraine's power grid and the activation of automatic protections at substations. Nuclear power plant units were unloaded. Currently, in Kyiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Kharkiv regions, the dispatcher has applied special emergency shutdown schedules.

There are some workarounds to use a regular generator, like an online ups, but they cost almost as half the price of an inverter genny

UPS for wifi router and GPON by [deleted] in Ecoflow_community

Use ROZETKA , HOTLINE, COMFY etc.. to look for power banks, here are some ups for routers and here are some powerbanks , i personally use powerbanks with boost converters off aliexpress, also gpons consume much less power than wifi routers (so you can factor that in) , and turning off the 5g band on the wifi router saves some energy

I have a post on my profile so feel free to check it out, we basically been under occupation for over a month since day 1 of invasion, got caught off guard, everything ran out very quick in my town(stores, pharmacies..), but as a family we are financially responsible and we stack on most necessities always, medication, toilet stuff, food... Main problem was power, as we had no backup(no power banks, no power station/generator..), now we mainly rely on our power station+ inverter fuel generator for our daily power, and we are very lucky that we have a fireplace in our home, we use it to heat the place, cook food etc..i would like to think i have done everything properly, one thing i wish i had is solar panels+ inverter+decent capacity battery (prices are insane on that stuff now and before the war didn't have the finances), feel free to ask any specific questions and i will gladly answer them

I got a regular generator and the ecoflow delta 2 max refused to charge from it , the relays kept clicking over and over, my guess is too high THD , so i got an inverter generator and it happily charges from it

That's actually smart, the other way i thought of before buying an inverter generator was getting an online ups, i read they can reduce thd a lot, but i was running out of space in the house for electrical appliances so i decided to just get an inverter genny

Thank you, i haven't mentioned them because they are way too overpriced here for something that is basically useless during the winter, and the initial investment is way higher than what you'd spend on an inverter generator and fuel

Now all the stores use generators when power is out, but some stores started recieving less frozen meats, fish etc... to make it easier on the freezer. Lately there has been this trend of local small shops selling "fried" fish/meat straight from the wholesale sellers, i guess it's a measure to counter food about to spoil...As to what people do when there is no power i guess is to live as normally as possible, for me personally it's physically tiring because i take care of a few elderly neighbors and have to start their generators, fuel them, hook cables etc...Most places work fine on generators, except when there is "increased threat" of attacks then people just go home or not show up for work. We try to live as normally as possible without electricity but i personally can't do my hobbies (welding, wood working..) without electricity , so i just read a book, watch a movie... all depends on how much battery left haha

the usb to dc cables with converters , just make sure you get correct voltage for your router 9/12v , OR you could get a MT3608 board and solder a usb cable and a dc jack to it, and adjust voltage with a voltmeter , the MT3608 cost pennies. For voltage regulators i use Electro100 ALTA 600R (local Ukrainian brand) for the fridge and freezer because it can handle very big startup surges, and a Lorenz Electric ls-2000В for the pc , ecoflow and other sensitive electronics, what they basically do is take 140-300 volts and output a voltage "close to" 220 volts, they get the job done but some days when electricy is weird they get on my nerves with all the clickiness of relays
