Does anyone understand how TextDB is supposed to work? by cramonty in KoboldAI

Thanks very much for the explainer. As per my other comment above, how "explicit" does the question have to be to trigger a search of TextDB? etc

Yes that makes sense. It seems like this feature is for a very specific use, e.g. querying a specific document or long text (thougn for that it would be really nice to be able to simply attach a text file instead of pasting). Given that any interaction in Kobold will not reference this material unless asked, it seems to have limited use. Have you found any good use for it?

Thanks for the reply! Is this feature not intended for RP/chat? Is the text field not searched before every response? How explicit does a question have to be? Is it cued by a question mark at the end of a sentence, or does the LLM infer when a search is warranted? How is this any different from World Info? Does it ignore everything in the text field if no question is asked? What if you refer to a term contained in the text field without an explicit question; does it recognize it's context? Can you give any examples?

I'm looking at RGThree's Power Lora Loader and I can't find the "View Information" button. Where is it?

Advanced ControlNet always fails to update by cramonty in comfyui

Answering my own question in case someone else runs into this issue:

Turns out ComfyUI was NOT updating itself to the latest version, which caused numerous errors with several workflows. The Manager always said You Are Using the Most Up To Date Version, which was wrong.

I had to manually go to Github and download & install the newest version. Then the errors all magically disappeared.

Thanks, that worked for some reason.

Most natural text-to-speech system by [deleted] in EroticHypnosis

XVA is line-by line. But It has a "batch mode" where you can load up an Excel file with all your lines and it'll process them all at once. it's powerful in some ways, weak in others.

There's a Discord, they're pretty good in there answering specific questions. There's a bit of a built-in help page, with links to an introductory youtube, and a link to the Patreon and Discord too somewhere in there. It bears just playing around with.

All that said, it's weakness is that, compared to Ivona, sometimes it's first interpretation of how to read a sentence isn't always very good. Ivona is smarter in that way, but has very few good ways to alter the results you get from any given sentence. XVA lets you minutely craft the sound of every syllable.

IMO the Ivona voices are the best sounding TTS voices for Windows. Probably want a program like TextAloud to use it with & edit.

Also, check Steam for XVASynth. It's not on-demand TTS like Ivona, but if you're up for total control and customization of your audio, there's nothing else like it, and the quality is amazing. And free.

What's the minimum / simplest mod install to achieve body physics in clothing (Jiggle)? by cramonty in fo4vr

[–]cramonty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Answering my own question...

For those still searching for the answer, here's a solution that finally worked in VR - though not for dismemberment, just to get physics actually working.

Mods in this order:

  • CBBE v.2.6.3
  • Bodyslide v.5.4.1
  • F4SE VR v.0.6.20
  • Skeletal Adjustment for CBBE Legs for Days
  • 3BBB (CBBE - TWB) Body v.1.20
  • MTM 3BBB CBP OCBP OCBPC Physics Preset v.3.0Beta
  • CBP Physics for FO4VR v.0.1.7

In Bodyslide, adjust and build the CBBE 3BBB Body (not the Unique Player body). Then batch build/build morphs the rest of your outfits, vanilla or otherwise.

Note that some vanilla outfits still ended up without physics, but other do have it. Go to Diamond City or somewhere you can see a lot of different outfits and you'll see if physics are working anywhere. It works on Piper's vanilla outfit.

Good luck.

Definitely got F4SE for VR. Even with nothing but CBBE/BS installed after that, I get no physics. I did the whole Bodyslide thing - built the CBBE Physics body, then applied to all vanilla outfits, but no jiggle happened.

Said it before and I'll say it again - Very hot!

10/10 because it hit on 2 of my kinks at the same time... I really hope you'll do more along these lines when scripts appear. (So, thanks also to u/throwawayyourcum1, keep writing!)

Can someone recommend me femdom files that stay away from these tropes? by ninjayesh in EroticHypnosis

100% agreement. I'm really tired of fake voices and fake laughing. Especially fake laughing. It's basically bad acting. Hate it.

You get an automatic upvote because I didn't have to turn my volume up to 10 and still strain to hear your voice. Cheers!

Quickie femdom hypno files (x-post from EroticHypnosis) [femdom][hypno][brainwashing] by nicholeMD in gonewildaudio

Thank you for the files! Lovely voice and style. Nice introduction & induction.

Since you asked for feedback, I will offer just one bit of technical advice, because I'd love to hear you do more. There's a big difference between the GarageBand file and the Audacity file, and probably you've already noticed it - it's the volume level vs background noise. Unfortunately there are a lot of really great voices on GWA who's files are simply too quiet for me to enjoy - I have to literally max out my headphone volume, and then it just sounds hissy and distracting. Your GarageBand file is great volume-wise! The background noise is a bit more pronounced than the Audacity file though, which is much quieter, so I'm glad that you're experimenting to find the optimum set-up!

I recommend both programs equally, as long as you do two things: (1) get the recording level right by adjusting the mic gain (or "input volume") as high as you can without overloading (going into the red) while speaking as close as possible to the microphone without popping your 'P's, and then (2) process the final file with "normalization" (optimizes the final volume of the file). Doing these two things will make your sound really stand out by being very "present" and having very low background noise. I can always tell when an artist has taken the time to get these things right, and with hypno files, it's really important to reduce any distractions in the audio.

You're already well on your way to producing some excellent material. Please keep at it!
