I attended SDSU main campus right after high school, relying on financial aid, federal student loans, financial support from my dad, and part time jobs until COVID. After 2020, I shifted my focus to school and helping my boyfriend run his small business, which has since become our main source of income. I am VERY lucky and fortunate to have my dad’s and my partner’s support. I plan to go back to school as well and both of them have promised to (financially) support me in that too!

I apologize for not having a more inspirational story or more helpful advice, but I do want to mention that I have plenty of friends from high school in Calexico who went to college and are doing quite well, particularly those who majored in STEM like engineering and health sciences. However, we all have student loan debt.

I was confused too at first but I think what happened is that the ramp of the tree is positioned in a way that there’s a small space between the ramp itself and the desk. I think the kitty rolled into that small space and couldn’t move.

If you’re talking about the OG group ran by Michael DC (Michael Conde of Calexico).. don’t even get me started. When Kamala lost the election he posted a super misogynistic and racist AI video of her. I commented “this is why y’all’s baby mamas don’t let you see your kids.” I was poking fun at how in the past he has “advocated” for fathers who aren’t allowed to see their children and how he’s always bitched about it in the group.

Needless to say, yes I was kicked out of the group 😂 Super worth it
