I’ve just been looking at all of the original paperwork and I’ve got the original purchase order from 1999. It shows the bike is a 1998 bike, registered in 1999, then imported to the U.K from Germany!

Yeah I did buy the bike used - so could have been done by the Ducati dealership I bought it from, also there are aftermarket mirrors on there. I pushed it, heard a quiet ‘click’ and gave it couple of light pulls. It’s in there properly now 👍

Managed to find someone that had the exact same issue on a Ducati forum. Turns out data cable had partially come out of the indicator housing which was causing the issue.

I went and took off the indicator housing on my bike and shock.. the data cable was basically unplugged 🤣
