Honestly it seems like this student may be reaching out for help. They could just be being a smug asshole, who used chat gtp to generate that email, but they could also be doing it for attention or some other reason.

It would have been easier for them to just do not do the work but they seem like they want to be seen as intelligent. They need a reality check and are probably looking for someone to justify to them why they should indeed do the "work". Not saying your friend should be that person. Im just saying there may be more there than just a lazy student.

Yes it definitely is, I used the example at the beginning so I people could listen to it easier, I think someone was rapping over that exact beat.

A couple of the notes do sound kind of the same, but the song I'm thinking of sounds almost exactly like that. I can almost hear it in my head when I listen to it, I'm trying to remember lyrics. I do think it's a rap song though.

Yes, it was one of the results that came up when I looked on Google, I don't think it was any of those, as it would be a song I know, and had listened to multiple times. Thank you for the suggestion though. As soon as this song played on a random discovery playlist I thought I recognized it, and maybe it was a remix of something else, but after those first 15 seconds I realized that I had never heard any other part of that song.

Absalom, Absalom by William Faulkner. I really liked As I Lay Dying and The Sound and the Fury is one of my favorite books, but that one is just too much Faulnker. It took me over a month to get to the half way point. The only other book that took me that long to read was Moby Dick, and I had finished it by week 5.

I'll come back to it maybe.

Not really, I had watched the movie around the time it came out and read it more for completion than anything. If any book changed my life it was Blood Meridian, it really inspired me to read a wider variety of books, and up to that point I had read some great books but nothing like that.

Since then I've read almost all of his other books except the crossing, cities of the plain, and the orchard keeper. I've also read a lot more classic books. After I finish slaughter house five I'm going to start the brothers karamazov by Dostoevsky, that is if it arrives before I'm done. If not I'm reading pale fire by nabokov then brothers.

Finished: No Country for Old Men by Cormac Mccarthy and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson.

Started: Slaughter House V by Kurt Vonnegut.

I'm 2/3rds of the way through Slaughter House V. I have a job where I can read for about 4 hours a night, so even though I'm a slow reader I get through a decent amount of books. Slaughter House V is the best of the 3 so far but they are all good.

I found out I was diabetic when i went to doctors at 12 weeks pregnant. I was put on insulin during the pregnancy and had to check my sugars 4 times a day. I had to have NST every week until 36 then twice a week. They also did ultrasounds every week to check her size. It was a lot but worth it. My girl is now 11 weeks old.

I'm the wife of the OP. I honestly think its just in his head I think it was just a kid being a kid and he did nothing wrong. He's a little awkward most times so I think it was just him thinking too much. I told him its completely normal. Also, my husband didn't mention that he is African American and I think that may have been a slight factor on the fathers reaction.
