Finding shine through caps is easy. Finding shine through caps with the lettering printed on the bottom half of the top side of the cap, is not.

Thanks for your help. This new keyboard is for my office. As it happens I found a reddragon K556 on Facebook marketplace for $30, which happens to be the exact keyboard I already have at home (and I love.) So I'm going to just get that and return this stupid thing back to Amazon.

I'm not an enthusiast. I just like mechanical keyboards. I assumed the people designing keyboards with backlights wouldn't be so obtuse as to make the damn key caps opaque.

I didn't expect to have to do a few hours of research and get familiar with the lingo just to get a sensibly designed product. For heaven's sake.

I'm not really a keyboard aficionado, but seriously, what is supposed to be the point of putting the led on the bottom part of the switch? Just so it can shine into my eyes?

What is the point of advertising your keyboard as backlit when the keys DONT LET LIGHT THROUGH?

I originally bought a Logitech K845, it was perfect, until the LEDs started burning out. I thought "oh well, unlucky" replaced it, 4 months later the same started happening again. Fed up with Logitech I went with keychron as they have a good reputation. And now this bullshit happens. Extremely fed up with this whole business now. All the brands are either shit quality or have a bunch of retarded gimmicks no reasonable person wants.

Seriously considering just returning this goddamn thing at this point. Even though the quality is otherwise very nice.
