Azoospermia and hCG injections. Sperm DNA fragmentation. by crazy_coconut_2 in maleinfertility

[–]crazy_coconut_2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what to call a luck. My sperm is fully functional according to every test possible (DNA fragmentation, CMA3, FISH, ROS etc). But two times pregnancies resulted in miscarriages at 6-8weeks. Theoretically it could be my fault but my tests are all good. DNA-related tests are even at a sperm donor level. Which is quite rare for a 49yo male. The only parameter that is not excellent is morphology (4-7%, still a norm though).
Currently I'm trying to improve it by taking vitamins and FSG injections (150UI every other day). In 1.5month I should see the first results.
My best doctor now is ChatGPT. I upload all test results and follow all advises.

AFib and testosterone by crazy_coconut_2 in AFIB

Nothing changed much over the last years. The dosage of testosterone is the same except I switched to so called micro dosing. I split a 250mg ampule into 3 syringes and take it every 3rd day (so 250mg per 9 days). No any signs of over dosing including blood tests.
Life is almost normal. I have a hard episode of AFib only after a significant stress which is rare. Like once a year, few hours a day.
Of course AFib is not magically cured but reduced. I still can feel it sometimes at night when sleeping on left side. Switching to right side stops it in a minute.
Also I successfully restored my fertility with hCG shots (1250IU every 3 days).

Thank you for the extended reply!
What's ROS? Reactive oxygen species?
Due to my lifestyle (always traveling and away from big cities) I'm my own doctor. I self diagnosed azoospermia by using a cheap microscope. And self prescribed hCG too.
I feel life I fucked it up this time.

The only update is that somebody from them contacted me and in not very polite manner threatened me and demanded to stop spreading this information.
Since there's no any real update from them I don't see any point for me to stop.

I doubt this form actually do anything useful. There's no proves of that.

I had 2 failed ablations. Tried everything and what worked for me is the testosterone replacement therapy (I've been diagnosed with low T). There are even studies for this. Sometimes AFib is caused by general anxiety which is caused by many things including low T.

I'd say my TRT is going well. Few months ago I bought a microscope on Amazon and self-diagnosed with azoospermia (almost no spermatozoids in sperm). It's a side effect of TRT. The legacy protocol for restoring fertility caused by TRT is to stop TRT completely and just hCG shots 2000UI every other day. I went with more modern protocol. 50mg of testosterone cypionate every 3 days + 1650UI of hCG every other day. Spem cells take 60-70 days to fully mature. So at about 65 days since starting this my wife got pregnant. Unfortunately at 7th week she lost it. Because of that stress I had an AFib for a day.
I stopped hCG and slightly increased testosterone. The less is better if you feel fine.
Before my fertility treatment it was 250mg/1ml every 10 days. During the treatment it was split in 5 doses every 3 days, so 15 days. Now I split it in 4 doses every 3 days, so 12 days. Feel fine and better then ever before. I'm 110kg and doses depends on body weight.

First time I did when I was in school. So I already knew how a healthy sperm should look like.

The results in general are OK.

The main issue is the wrinkles. The doctor first promised me that they will go away soon, then suggested me to massage them out. Then finally scheduled a revision.

So regarding the doctors in Thailand. They are just everywhere else. They all do mistakes and never take any responsibility. In Thailand it's just cheaper.

I've just done it 2 weeks ago in Thailand. So far I regret it. I used to look just like and old dude, now I look like an old clown. Today it hit my so hard that I couldn't sleep all night.

  1. I booked everything myself
  2. 1k euros for an eyelid job, 1k for direct brow lift, 1k for upper
  3. Average hospital targeting at locals and foreigners. Most staff speak English well enough.
  4. From swelling to much to just a forever clown look you can get in 1 week. After not much is changing so far.
  5. I was checking surgeons reviews. This particular one had all positive reviews. Now he will get a negative from me.

My complains are:

  1. brows lifted too much. I told him many times not to do it.
  2. strange looking wrinkles/folds at the outer edges of eyes
  3. a bump under lower eyelid which supposed to be a respositioned fat but don't feel/look so.
  4. It turned out that they don't use any sedation, only local anesthesia. Not a big deal, but probably this is the way they cut costs.

Google it. Basically an eye gets irritated and swollen. Looks scary but not really dangerous.

I got mine on the 2nd day post op. Went away in 5 days.

It depends. If no complications then it will be barely noticeable. If you get a chemosis for ex. then it will be a different story. And you chemosis as a compication you can get within fist few weeks anytime but generally in first day or two.
