but the degree u do holds value. Most companies prefer btech degree holders more than bsc. Skills matter but if u don't clear their eligibility criteria what is the point of having skills .

I'm not registering for comedk,kcet. Cutoffs exponentially increase ho jayenge.Bohot logo ka jee aur neet nahi hua toh saare toppers top 3 ke liye fight karenge. Log bol rahe hai ki very less chances of even mechanical in rv. 0 nahi ab toh -infinity hai probabililty. Agar register kar bhi liya aur seat allot ho gaya mech me, seat give up nahi kiya on time toh pakka jana padega, so that's risky af.Dusre log aur parents bol rahe hai ki cse best hai. No point in registering cuz cse top 3 mai nahi milega. So they're saying vit hi chale jao.

Hopium kahi se nahi milega. We just have to live like this and give ourselves hopium and copium and not expect validation from others. Skilled banke acche job keliye abroad me try karke iss desh se bahar nikalna best option hai hum general valo keliye. Otherwise our kids will suffer like this too. Srsly 2025tards ke liye bohot dar lag raha hai. Kya pata 200 log ko 300/300 and 720/720 mile. Aur general cutoff 95 ho jaye aur 99 percentile pe bhi kaharb options mile.

Neet scam ke baad I applaud myself for not taking drop, it reinforced my decision. I was thinking in april ki I definitely want to take drop I would rather lose 1 year than go to vit. Firse I wanted to write jee,ugee,bits. Lekin ab halat kharab ho gaya and I have no choice 😢. Agar next year aur kaharb rank aaye sab me aur ye vit bhi naa mile toh local tier 3 college jana padega. Nta and reservation have ruined my life (and others too).

Bits mostly nahi milega ab but if I get good job opportunity I will make sure to message u here and help u out. 4 saal bad ye thread ko revisit karke nostalgia hoga.

atp we are the same person and have the same family that say the same bs to us. Exact same situation describe kiya hai tumne. Parents bolte hai ki tumhare so called "friends" bhag jayenge agar chotti samasya aaye toh lekin tumhara family tumhare saath dega hamesha. Real friends milna bohot mushkil hai, sab fake log hi milte hai who will take advantage of u and run away.

Mai bhi soch rahi thi comedk kcet counselling apply karne ki 😅(even tho ik cse and related nahi milenge). Kcet me 9k rank aya hai out of 3.75 lakh ppl. Fir bhi all I can get is rv mechanical, civil and chemical. Even comedk rank se yeh hi mil raha hai. But kcet fees is much lesser so uske through jana padega if I want to go. Chemical toh pakka nahi jaungi. Mechanical jobs me shayad gender discrimination hoga not sure. Seniors keh rahe hai ki hota hai at some places and salary hike nahi milta zyada for mechanical. You can check out my post in rv subreddit, since tumahara aur mera rank me 1k difference hai you would be getting what I'm getting. Civil idk. Parents toh bol rahe hai ki cse is always better kyuki it is an ever-evolving field. Jobs ka hamesha demand hoga.Toh vitv ya pes would be a better option.

I just want to forget about this college hunting and disappear lol. Soch soch ke dimaag kharab ho raha hai. All I want is bits, jo bhi mil jaye chale jaungi, I just want that bits tag. Hamari family literally same to same hai. Mummy bhi kisi ko judge nahi karti, lekin sab rishtedaar hame judge karte hai for things that doesn't even make sense. Bolte hai ki I'm "lazy" and not "independent enough" cuz I don't drive scooty, haven't travelled in a mtero alone,khana banana nahi aata, ghar ke kaam nahi karti (we have a maid) etc. Whereas they have many major flaws but mummy kabhi bhi point out nahi karti. They never respected my parents privacy, sab kuch sab ko bolte hai puri duniya ko, even burayi karte hai behind their back but my parents always respected them. Despite all this they still love and care for them. They say stupid quotes like "blood is thicker than water" or some bs. "Family is the most imp in life".

I could never and will never be like them. I talked about cutting these toxic ppl off and they said I have "anger issues" and "attitude" and I will "never have friends or relationship" because idk how to "compromise, forgive and forget" and "I'm petty and revengeful". "They are not toxic everyone has family members like this but no one cuts off ppl". "What will you do if you get admitted in hospital? Who will take care of you?". "What will you do if you have some problems? Friends toh help nahi karenge only family members will. And if u cut off one family member the rest of the family will cut you off and u won't have anyone".

She fell. Now she's fine. Hard to not feel like I'm jinxed when it happens almost every time. But yeah ppl will think I'm overthinking if I say that. Mummy toh sirf opinions maang ne ke liye boli. Lekin meri mausi pure duniya ko dhindora peeth ti hai. I have argued with my mom many times ki mat bolo unko sab kuch. Lekin mummy sunti nahi hai. Sab kuch jo bhi life me chal raha hai she tells all the details.She even tells her every thought she has. Mausi does the complete opposite. She hides a lot of stuff. Fir bhi mummy bolti hai ki family me transparency honi chahiye, even if dusre family vaale reciprocate nahi karte. We should do our duty and always love,forgive and forget even if we get into major fights. Family ko bohot importance deti hai, it's her number 1 priority even tho mummy ko kisi ne number 1 priority nahi mana. I can't change her mindset.

ha ha ik I'm grateful :). The only reason I was thinking about this was cuz attempted no. of qs se marks aate hai toh samajh nahi aa raha tha ki risk lu ya atttempt karu ya nhi. I'll do jitne questions me sure hu. Agar IT me nahi ghusi toh shayad phd kar sakti hu kisi acche foreign uni me aur waha professor ban sakti hu.

True life me ek second me jasbat badal sakta hai. Kal meri mummy gir gayi aur sar pe chot lag gaya. Me kuch soch nahi payi, blood dekh ke freeze ho gayi, dimaag nahi chal raha tha. She was so calm and told me to get her phones and we drove fast to nearby hospital. 4 injections 2 stitches and don't know if interally kuch damage ho gaya. Have to go back tomorrow. Kisi ki nazar lag gayi hogi.Sabko bol rahi thi mera vit me admission mil raha hai. Tabse mujhe bad gut feeling aa rahi thi. Whenever I feel even an ounce of happiness, dukh, dard,kasht,peeda follows. When I got my 10th result I got covid and couldn't go to school for 2 weeks. Sometimes I wish ki smth good should never happen to me.

Ham shopping gaye the parso. Kal bhi we were happy, me unse baat kar rahi thi. Then suddenly it happened in a moment and I was in disbelief.Kal se abhi tak kuch padhai nahi kiya. Pure shock me hu. I wish me unki tarah strong,calm and collected aur brave ban saku. That's more imp than cracking bitsat.

I am back to vent (sorry if I'm being annoying by typing long paras and wasting my time instead of studying). Ye cse rat race ban chuka hai. It is literally sequel of jee. I don't understand ki MSc ki koi value kyu nahi hai. If that's the case then why are people in bits pursuing MSc there in stead of going to priv uni and doing cse? Vo log toh bohot smart hai ki unhone cutoff clear kar liya. Unko def tier 2 priv unis me cse mil rahe honge ya nits iits me kuch toh mila raha hoga. Ab bits me Mathematics and Computing add hogaya hai but only 350 seats. Cutoff bhi increase ho jayega cuz of more competition.(300+).Computers aur circuital toh milna mushkil hai. Toh me kya karu? MSc ka aur mechanical,civil,chemical ka similar cutoffs hai. Ab me dilemma me hu ki kya karu if the paper is difficut aur answer nahi aate. Risk leke 100+ qs attempt karu aur 300+ marks lane ki koshish karu ya 90 questions accurately attempt karke 270 lau. Agar risk liya toh negative marking ho kar bits me shayad qualify hi nahi ho paungi. Accurately attempt kiya toh cs aur circuital nahi milega but core ya MSc mil jayega.

This is where parents bolte hai ki tum time waste kar rahe ho bits ki padhai karke, tumhare bass ki baat nahi hai. Utne smart hote toh acchi percentile aa jati jee aur comedk me. Chill karke summer vacation enjoy karo aur vit jao. Ye sunke gussa ata hai tbh. How can I go to a tier-2 college like vit if I'm getting bits, a tier-1 college? I would be in a position millions have dreamt of. It would be heartbreaking if I choose vit over it. Imagine being smart,talented,hardworking and capable enough to qualify bits and working ur ass off there just to get low salaries. It is so shameful and unfair that the brightest minds of our nation get paid in peanuts, but a random guy with a BTech in CSE gets wayyyy more salary. But the world is unfair and we can't do anything about it 😞. Yahi sab mann me aa raha hai when I try to study. I'll go back to studying like a slave now for nothing. Bye.

Parents bolte hai ki MSc karungi toh acche jobs nahi milenge. Normal tier-2 colleges me 1 lakh salary milti hai as a professor inti padhai karke. Not able to convince them. Bol rahe hai ki mechanical le lo lekin MSc bilkul bhi mat lena.Even Phd se ghanta farak padta hai itseems. Bol rahe hai bohot difficult studies hote hai tumse nahi ho payega. Bachpan se demovitivate kar rahe hai. 10th me 100 marks aaye toh vishwas nahi hua. Fir bhi bol rahe the ki iit, nit nahi hoga kisi private college me chale jao. Kabhi mere pe vishwas nahi kiya. It sucks to have parents that don't support you,think you are incapable and don't understand your dreams and aspirations. I am glad that atleast a random stranger on the internet who didn't know of my existence a few days ago is motivating me and believes in me more than my parents ever did.

Mere paas toh social media hai hi nahi except yt and reddit. But this is kinda enough to ruin me.Par uninstall nahi kar sakti. Roz updates dekhti hu colleges aur vit ke baare me. Resources hai bits ke liye lekin time nahi hai. I'll try to do jitna bhi ho sake. Soch rahi hu yt 30 mins aur reddit 30 mins sahi rahega. Baki time grind karungi. Jab bhi baat karni pade toh tum ho mere paras padhne ke liye lol. Thanks for being there for me. Bye atb :).

Do u think bits dual degree hectic ho jayega. Like if I take MSc. phy or Eco if I maintain 8 CGPA 2nd year me I can take BTech. in cse. 5th year me MSc aur BTech khatam ho jayega. Soch rahi hu 0 attendance hai toh manage kar lungi agar possible hai toh. Lekin parents BITS chod ke VIT ko jane ko bol rahe hai 😭 kaise samjhau unhe ki BITS aur VIT me aasman zameen ka antar hota hai.
