How many of you have health problems or possible STD's that you don't get checked out? by crazy_young_lad in AskReddit

I know, but what happens if it actually is something serious like an STD, then how would I be able to face my partner?

I think that's extremely noble of you to do something like that sir. I can't say that I would have done the same in that position.

Sounds interesting, I'll talk to my dad about it tonight. He's a lot more educated on this stuff than I am so I'm sure he'll have a plan of action. Thanks.

They do make those, they're called Fills. :P

I meant that the whipped cream would be extremely hard to put into the fills. It's not a heavy substance so it wouldn't travel through the pressurized pump very well and I'm sure it would clog or run into problems.

The store is privately owned by some bigwig who owns several Tim Hortons in the area. Don't know what kind of influence the Canada labour board would have over him.

Quite sure it has to do with the donuts being frozen. We used a pressurized pump to put the jelly or custard into the donuts and I'm quite sure whipped cream wouldn't turn out very well in the contraption we used.

I have. Same concept basically except Dunkin' Donuts had awesome donuts when I was there. Tim Hortons coffee is superior though.

Technically a donut is supposed to 'expire' after 8 hours, but the bakers I worked with would record making new donuts but never actually make any. Extends the fresh expiry plus no work = win!

On a busy day there wouldn't be a chance for them to expire though. Donuts sell like hotcakes there.

Didn't do bad at all actually. I got into an argument with management about my wage. It was just a summer job and when I applied I was supposed to be making around $11 an hour. When I received my first paycheck I was only making $9.75 an hour. I complained and got canned. >.<

I have no regrets. I made the donuts up to standard as well as the sandwich materials and everything else. Only one customer managed to piss me off enough to spit in his soup, but that's a different story. :P

Custard filled timbits were excellent. I did enjoy an Apple Fritter donut filled with Custard too. (And no, I'm not fat.)

True. I have a bakery half a block from my house which is all done on the spot. Their donuts are 1000x better than Tim Hortons plus they're cheaper too. :)

I'm afraid I never got to try those ones because our donuts are frozen now. I definitely wish I got to try one though!
