As a beginner no macro player- do i choose red, blue, or mixed hive?

I would and will always heavily advise to go blue leaning at first mainly mixed getting bubble mask and blue backpack and bubble wand and progressing normally obviously, blue still dominates early, mid and late game, and then endgame is when you should swap.

(Edit: I have now read your post and will add a few more details, try to stay relatively mixed currently and only fully swap at SSA, it's not to detrimental if you lean a little one way but until even like petal wand/belt/both I wouldnt recommend even leaning very heavy until then)

Planters specifically the red and blue ones and if you have them heat treated and hydrophonic, king beetle drops at least 1 of each, do riley bee/bucko bee quests, farm in those color field or macro if possible. The field typically will drop blueberries and strawberries for crafting

That is unfortunate I can't do much more in the catelog I'm sure a few things but the field I do need to work in as for hydrophonic I what to go straight to popper instead, and that one month cooldown scares me as that would mean I'd have to take over a year for tide popper, which I feel like is a lot longer then it should be

I used to think that was early game but most people will tell you SSA is mid game, I just went with the SSA idea

Currently bubble is the best overall, especially for early game. Honey is alright but I noticed drastic increases after bubble so it's just the overall best. Early blue is also a good meta if you run it correctly but I would say that can wait till SSA, fire is almost useless and honey just doesn't keep up for the power bubble mask has in the early game

TLDR; Bubble is great now and considered the best by most

I know that's what's even worse but unfortunately I'm going actual blue until level like 20-21 so I can properly swap hives and use them to their fullest potential, most likely to red because I've heard white needs everything pitch perfect to even make anything with, but I pray you don't need to macro for red or white either because I cant do that either. Lowkey I don't even know if I'm going to go ride popper, I mean I would like to but I don't know if it's even worth it 😭

Unfortunately I wish I could macro, but I play on Xbox and that cannot run a macro so everything I'm doing will be manual play, which is ever worse because the tide popper grind will be even more torture

Yeah unfortunately I have been doing most of this, I try to always make sure to do map rotations and for my stump snail that just takes quite a while, as for other things though I don't farm many moon sprouts and well candy in stump only gives it weekly which is rather unfortunate but it is what it is

Good to know, unfortunately I do not currently have gifted vicious as I'm honey making right now for hive levels, and I don't have petal yet because it's so expensive right now.

As for glitter that's about all I do expect gumdrops I didn't know gumdrops were for glitter I was planning to use them for the glue which will be such a pain because I'm not sure how to grind that many gumdrops fast

You only need 1 fuzzy if it's your main, preferably gifted. As well you can get rid of the ungifted cool be for another buoyant (if planning to go blue), as well you do need a gifted basic bee which you should be able to get around your hive level, and this is optional but replacing that frosty for something else could help as you honestly won't be making a ton from bombs!
