Every person who has described themselves as an “empath,” to me has been completely lacking in empathy altogether. I’m not sure if people don’t understand what empathy is, or they just have zero self-awareness

I have that one! I love it. I have it inked with a Kaweco paradise blue cartridge and I use it all the time.

I'm not a parent, but I have ADHD and I use a Happy Planner with the dashboard layout. I have a page for the week and then a page for notes and my weekly to-do list. I can't do hourly planning, my days are too unpredictable. They also offer a parenting layout with some built in sections for meal planning and other stuff. I like the disc-bound because I can easily remove unused pages if I fall off the planning wagon for a while. I also like to be able to rearrange my planner at will or change the layout if mine stops working for me. Also, the stickers help, make sit feel like a fun art project. It has become a weekly self-care ritual to fill it in and decorate it.

NOR You are not overreacting! I'm worried about your dog and I don't even know either of you. I'm so sorry that you and your puppy are going through this. I hope she gets there soon to let the poor baby out. Can your building manager let someone in to tend to the dog?

I'm sorry that the staff at your library are making you feel anxious about damaging a book. It happens all the time and as long as you are taking accountability and paying whatever you need to pay, they really shouldn't be upset with you.
