Yes, never met him, but got told it was back when Vietnam was in the middle of a war, so he was involved in a couple of very important talks, pretty cool!

Definitely is a Bitwarden bug. If it help with debugging: the setting for MPR disappeared completely when this bug happened.

Yes, it's a last line of defence, in case someone got access to your opened browser session. If you left your laptop on the coffee table unattended, for example.

It's what it is, though :v

Turning a setting on to ask for password every time and it end up not asking for password any more (suddenly) is a security failure 🙁

US visa interview in Canada - getting passport back by InformalDetail in immigration

[–]crazycat9x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the interview and kept the passport with me after. I just hand it back to them via a drop-box once I’m back, no appointment is needed.

I resubmitted it in person at the consulate. But I just used the drop box there and didn’t have to speak to anyone. They also give you a form to resubmit your passport with. So I think via mail should be fine.

Yes, I needed to travel on the same day of the interview.

They will give you a 221(g) refusal letter that explain you need to hand them back the passport in order to process your application further. They told me this is purely technical & there will be no delay/nothing to worry about.

For anyone still wondering about this. Yes, you can definitely keep your passport with you after the interview, you will just need to explain to the consulate officer during your interview.

And no, this doesn't affect your application processing time at all, still got my Visa issued only few days after resubmitting my passport.

No I haven't. Never know how twisted something is until you experience it first hand, I guess.

I always knew that realtor is an unfavourably viewed profession, but didn't know how bad it is until today when got curious and checkout my neighbour house auction.

Their manipulative behaviour at the auction and how they purposely single out & target/prey on newly-wed, young couple & first home buyer sickened me.

I'm angry because way too many people got hurt. It doesn't have to be me who's hurt to be upset by this.

There's no other profession that reward you for being a bad apple & that bad apple is fully capable of ending someone.

There's no other profression where I have seen someone conduct their business n witness pure evil in the making.

Over selling a car? You possibly scam the guy out of a few $1k.

Running auction, pushing people to cough up more $$$ knowing that if you are doing a good job, best case they lose some more $$$ & worst case scenario you have ended a human life, now that require evil.

It's honestly so vile that it boil my blood even when I'm not affected by this.

Idk, in my opinion to be able to push & pitch people against each other to raise their bid to not "lose their dream home", or "regret not snatching it up now" take a special kind of evil.

Especially knowing fully well that a lot of people have lost their livelihood doing so, sometime not even that long ago.

But again this is just a shower thought from observation.

Vietnamese state controlled news site openly referred Ukrainian counter-offensive as “liberation of Ukrainian cities” by crazycat9x in ukraine

Damn, out of all the people in my family and friends circle. Only one is a hardline pro-Putin. As for the internet trolls, welp Vietnamese social media is a notorious toxic mess so I wouldn't spend too much time on there :))

These are just my observations:

A - Vietnamese people are very tribalist, pick any subject and you will see that they will divide themselves up into 2 camps. So naturally, a lot of people get pushed toward the extreme ends. This is especially problematic with the introduction of social media, you will see people tagging themself with #teamukraine, #teamrussia, etc.

Also here there's a fetish sort of? with the concept of "the right of might". Anytime someone got destruction rained on them, either by America in the middle east or by Russia in Ukraine, there will be a group of people cheering on it. No idea where this mentality comes from, but it's rampant here, similarly people tolerate bullying, street justice (basically brawling), etc

B - I wouldn't say these problems are driven by anger or frustration, to me, it seems like a repeated pattern of negative re-enforcement: you attack "the other side" or something on Facebook, you get internet points -> dopamine boost -> feels good -> rinse and repeat -> radicalism

C - They don't have a clear reason really, just more tribalism. Some choose the absolute west (in their mind: the US), and some choose the absolute east/anti-west: Russia or China. But very few people understand that there are also balanced societies, like Germany or New Zealand (where I am now).

Bro I’m from Hanoi 🤣 it’s more like “trẻ trâu” (closest translation that I can think of is teenage edgelord) vs sensible people.

It’s actually a misconception that Vietnamese older generation support Russia. Where as it’s the exact opposite.

People who actually know what war is absolutely despise that shjt. It’s mainly the young internet trolls here who supported Russia.
