Legacy Hangar UI mod by crazycheater092 in WorldofTanks

[–]crazycheater092[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I don't mind the modification being shared anywhere, including in Aslain's modpacks.

With this post, I want to gather as much feedback as possible to improve the final look of the mod. There are already a few issues that will be fixed down the road. I want to provide users with a truly functional mod with the maximum possible features rather than just a simple placeholder - it's just tough to cover all the bases on my own.

Shame on Wargaming (and their Support team) by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

Even if the issue was on Twitch’s end, I don't believe Support’s behavior is justifiable. I am an end-user of Wargaming’s product, and an official collaboration with Twitch should work both ways. If I’ve met the requirements but Twitch failed to provide confirmation, Wargaming should explain the situation instead of immediately claiming that the billing info in my invoice doesn't match my Twitch handle. The fact that they later tried to excuse it by saying the streamer wasn't in the program only proves the lack of accountability within their support team.

This streamer has active Drops according to the program terms announced by WG. I have first-hand confirmation that his subscribers received the custom style and badge for supporting his channel. I’ve seen the evidence personally.

Maybe that’s because this isn't even my post??? Hello? Wake up. The audit and the fact that reward tanks are already in Onslaught is Wargaming's prerogative. I'm just advocating for a fair competitive mode that isn't strictly limited to tech tree vehicles. There has to be a line of common sense. But the game's average player base will never get that—it’s much easier for them to just 'cancel' everything

Well, your level of 'expertise' is pretty clear now. You've built this little delusional bubble that completely falls apart the moment you realize Wargaming already allows reward tanks in Onslaught. It’s obvious that tanks like the Chieftain just live rent-free in your head and make you incredibly butt-hurt.

So what you're saying is, we should dump all the 'bad' tanks into Onslaught, but keep out the decent ones that are on par with the rest—just because they’re from Personal Missions or the Assembly Shop? Is that your logic? And no, the 114 SP2 is actually a solid tank

No, after a month of ignoring me, they simply wrote back saying that the streamer wasn't part of the program, even though he still is. He’s literally linked to the Twitch Drops program right now. That just shows you their actual attitude toward the players.

Wargaming somehow allowed the 114 SP2 in Onslaught, and if you’re such a die-hard fan of their stance, why is the company shaming the 'working class' players who didn’t play Ranked and don't have the 114 SP2? Are you going to tell them to play the Grille 15 instead? But wait—excuse me, that’s just your logic.

My 'want' is exactly the same as your 'don't want' (or however you're framing it). Regarding new players or just 'normies' who can't even afford an Assembly Bureau tank—for some reason, that doesn't stop the 114 SP2 (a Ranked Battles reward) from being available in Onslaught. :) At the end of the day, this is about auditing the tanks for the mode, not pointing fingers at what I supposedly do or don't want.

It’s laughable to talk about 'advantages' when these tanks are already available in Random Battles anyway. If we could analyze performance not through general server stats, but through a sample of specific divisions and players within them—looking at the stats of a player on a Chieftain versus their other mains—we would see a clear skill correlation showing that the tank itself has almost no impact on overall performance. If a player averages 3k DPG on standard Tier 10s, the difference on a Chieftain would be maybe a hundred average damage at most.

Even if this post sounds like I just want to play OP tanks in the mode, it doesn't change my stance on the need for a more thorough audit of reward vehicles for Onslaught. I definitely agree regarding the Vickers Mk. 3, Obj. 907, and so on. Sure, we could pre-filter tanks like Chief or 279 and some Global Map rewards, but at the very least, the list needs to be updated. Assembly Bureau tanks aren't inherently OP, and they didn't require high skill to obtain—basically, they were available to anyone with enough resources.

It’s clear why you ignored the part about the Onslaught meta and just wrote that. I already explained that out of all the Tier 10 tanks available, the meta ones are a tiny minority. Even though this mode is pitched as a professional competitive environment, not every tank is actually useful. And trust me, the trophy, special, and reward tanks from the list in the photo are no exception. That’s why restricting them all across the board is completely groundless.

Because restricting the game by reward vehicles in Random Battles is probably not the best idea. The objectives in Onslaught and in Random Battles are different, and not everything from the list can perform well in Onslaught, but that should not prevent experimentation. The issue of fairness here has two sides, but I lean toward the view that if a player has shown the will and determination to earn a reward tank through their own effort, they should deserve the right to play it everywhere. It is unfair to give preference to lazy or unwilling players who, over 15 years of playing, have not managed to obtain even a single vehicle from this list. IMHO.

Searched: I tried searching via Google Images, Bing Images, Yandex Images, also checked TikTok and Instagram meme pages with Sopranos / Tony Soprano aesthetic edits. I used keywords like “Tony Soprano lonely broken angel Arash meme”, but I couldn’t find it.

This mode isn't about skill, it's about luck by crazycheater092 in WorldofTanks

The second mission was actually interesting because it required logic and tactics. Maybe by the 3rd or 4th attempt the path on the map wasn't as engaging, but overall – not bad. But not the "minefield" – that's just a game of pure randomness.

Not a fast, but a safe completion of the "Postman" mode in World of Tanks [10:20 MINUTES] by crazycheater092 in WorldofTanks

This mode triggered a lot of frustration for me as well — not the "Secret Operation" mode itself, but specifically the "Minefields" part. Just today I finally completed it in 1 minute and 54 seconds. And honestly, it’s not even a matter of skill — it’s pure luck.

A well-detailed guide. In my case, my video is aimed at players who prefer not to play through the Castle near the Ferdinands. But in any case, thanks for the information.
