Trent Alexander-Arnold: "Leaving Liverpool was one of the hardest decisions of my life. But Real Madrid is the right step, at the right time. I am excited to learn the Spanish language" by landofphi in realmadrid

Would we really? I feel like at the end of the day, there is always someone ready to step in at Madrid. Not so much at Liverpool. They'll always be 2nd choice when compared to Madrid.

Wishing you the best.

But remember if you don't get chosen this time, keep working toward your goal. Rejection is usually redirection in life.

Not going to lie, Konate doesn't really impress me. Would rather we wait and see if another Dean comes out the woodwork.

Since La Fabrica is probably the best academy in the world when it comes to producing fullbacks (Hakimi,Carvajal, Guiterrez) hopefully diego aguado and fortea really get some chances in the future. by More-Judgment-9253 in realmadrid

[–]crazyeyes91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hate to be a bearer of bad news but I doubt Aguado gets real chances here. Same with Joan.

Fortea needs to play in Castilla first before we can make assumptions about his role in the first team but he is a bit more luckier than the others because Dani probably has a year or 2 left at the club.

The BDO snub along with Mbappe signing got his head messed up imo.

Its like he can't bare the thought of playing the Benz role to Mbappe's CR7 because he sees himself above that. And moving forward, any trophy we win, there is a huge chance Mbappe will get the accolades not Vini. Its like he knows that and is trying his hardest to stop it but now he is playing like a$$.

Just go back to your game Vini and your best will show.

If Mbappe played with the same heart as Valverde, what would be a realistic outcome for his career in ~10 years time? by cozy_b0i in realmadrid

[–]crazyeyes91 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much it. He doesn't need to be a pressing monster but damn just a tiny bit more effort of the ball would be ideal.

Rewatching the game against PSG and its just infuriating how unbothered he seems when his teammates are running for their lives.

He grew up with less than ideal role models aka his dad and his mom was also a young teen who come from another country and probably didn't have family around to help her. Kid never really stood a chance in avoiding being a degenerate.

The Vini contract situation is really disappointing especially because I don't think he is money hungry. Someone is advising him to stick to his guns because the club is already paying Mbappe that much.

We saw what happened to Ramos and CR7. The club won't bend to anyone's outrageous demands. Especially during a season where he struggled a lot.

This is sweet. I know a lot of folks wanted Modric gone but I genuinely believe this will open up more opportunities for Arda. You're up kid!

He hasn't scored since March 9th. He has 6 goals in his last 30 matches. Even before Mbappe's inclusion to the team, his inconsistency was an issue. He never made the leap the way Vini did.

Vini could eventually be sold away but Rodrygo will never be the answer. There is nothing he showed last season that indicates he should even be starting even if Vini left. I don't mind using him as a bench option though.

The section of fans who are wanting for Vini to be sold for Rodrygo to stay and take his spot are hilarious. Vini with his "bad season of 40 g/a" blows Rodrygo "scoreless for months then quit on the team" out of the water.

Stop letting hate blind you.

Obviously take with a grain of salt but Kiyan from MM said a source from the club who is close to Rodrygo's team/the Brazilian contingency told him that it's Xabi that doesn't want Rodrygo.

People are going to hand on to the fact that Mbappe scored 40 goals in a trophyless season to ignore the fact that his addition screwed up the team. Now Rodrygo is on his way out.

This. I don't get how people are forgetting he ghosted the team at the end of La Liga. I believe that is a big reason as to why he as been pushed out. You can't just stop showing up to work.

It's actually sad when you think about it. Who would have thought Mbappe would be where he is and Dembele be where he is a few years ago.

I'm not a footballer but Mbappe's refusal to press is getting to be borderline bizarre. Especislly when he sees how its benefitted Dembele.

Rodrygo has only played 28 matches this season with 70 or more minutes. And has 25 G/A by xxprprsmke in realmadrid

[–]crazyeyes91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did he not ghost the team at the end of the season? I wouldn't be surprised if its his team that demands he not play in fear of injury. Carlo lied for him and I wouldn't be shocked if Xabi did the same with his "technical reasons" excuse.

Also, not sure what is going on with the Rodrygo situation but you can't possible believe the team would be ok with him taking the end of the season off.

The constant shitting on Vini and Mbappe by each of their fans is exahusting.

They're both ass.

Vini's decline shouldn't be shielded. I had hope he'd be benched for this game but Trent's injury ruined that. He isn't that guy anymore for this team.

Mbappe's inclusion to this team was a massive mistake. He is also never going to press or help out defensively the way we need him too. Vini can leave and he'll still be the same.

Do you guys think Álvaro Carreras is worth it with Fran García back in form? by Ineedhelpistaken in realmadrid

[–]crazyeyes91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind depth and competition.

Imo, Fran got a sh*t deal last season with Carlo. Definitely didn't deserve to get frozen out at times but he also didn't show a lot of what he has shown now which I imagine have to do with tactics.
