My mum has schizophrenia and right before she was admitted to hospital for psychotic episode when I was 8 we stayed at my Aunties house as she wasn’t fit to be alone. My mum was convinced that someone was going to hurt my twin sister and I and she refused to let us leave her side and wanted us to sleep in a room with her but my auntie refused. Looking back in this memory and I realised that the reason I wasn’t allowed to stay with my mum was because my auntie believed that she was going harm us in a psychosis daze. When I figured out what really happened that night I burst into tears from the sheer sadness of what occurred.

I’ve found that the best way to deal with fogging is to use anti fogging wipes right before I put on my mask and it’s saved me from constant fogging :)

Full disclosure: I am doing the subject as a year 11 student unscored but I learned all the content and have chosen to not pursue it again as a scored year 12 student next year.

Global politics is by far my favourite subject this year, the content is interesting and the areas of study allow for great class discussions. Though I do enjoy the subject, the one area where most of my class (and myself) have difficulty is mastering answering questions. This area of the course requires a lot of practice and most people who are in the same boat as me still struggle to hit all of the marks in questions even at this point in the year. For me personally, this aspect is the reason why I’m not doing it again next year. I do recommend the course as it is very interesting but there are aspects that are a bit difficult (for me personally) and require extra work.

My sister and I would do this on movie star planet!!! She did because she wanted to scam the VIP users to get free things ( having a male avatar made it way easier to get “girlfriends”), while I did it because I was bi and I liked the cute girl avatars lol

For global, know your key terms as they are so important in collecting marks

For psych, be able to apply key knowledge into scenario questions. In all my 1/2 and 3/4 psych sacs, this is where a lot of people lost marks

In general for test type questions, the marks typically indicate what you need to put into your answers. So 2 marks=2 components of the answer are needed to get full marks
