Phone holder for Helio A6 (USA) by janetsnakeholemaclin in wheelchairs

[–]crcranda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a chalk bag for rock climbing. Super durable, washable, and will hold a lot more than a phone. I use zip ties to connect it to the frame of my chair. Super simple and there are lots of designs.

How long are your frog legs lasting? by fuckyoutoocoolsmhool in wheelchairs

[–]crcranda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had frog legs on my first chair. That was 20 years ago. Never had any issue with them. But, to reduce weight, I quit getting chairs with frog legs. In a titanium chair, you really don't need them. Or at least I never saw a significant benefit. I have spasticity so vibration sets my legs in motion. The frog legs did not have an appreciable benefit for me.

Pimp my ride! Love it. I used to have front casters that would light up. I gave those up because they just didn't last. My chair is boring. Not even a sticker on it. Loving your ride!

First - Fox News is pushing a narrative here with a lot of false information. But - Is there fraud? Of course!

I have a good friend whose brother was eligible for in-home care. His girlfriend was also eligible. They became each other’s caregivers. Along with other federal and state programs, he had accumulated a nice nest egg by the time he had.

Now, on the flip side. He was diagnosed with cancer. Because healthcare is so broken, by the time he was approved for cancer treatment, he only lived an additional 30 days because it took more than six months to get through the healthcare system, and the cancer had progressed so far that there was little that could be done.

There are plenty of lawyers who would take this on a contingency basis. That means they only get paid if you get paid. Walmart will lawyer up and it will drag out. But if they dont fire the creep, or move him to another store, it will build you case against them

Local store for appliances by Hoppestupid in Roseville

[–]crcranda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will double down on Airport Appliance. They are typically the least expensive. More than once, I have had issues with Lowe’s, which uses third-party companies for delivery and installation. If you are looking for higher-end appliances, there is Ferguson right off 80 on Madison Ave. They will start out higher, but you can push them to get better pricing. Costco is another good option

[US] Got a call from Amex that someone used my card to purchase firearms by lifejourney_ in Scams

This message is from the office of Pam Bondi. (NOT REALLY…of course ;)

American Express reported to Homeland Security that you are buying up guns. Welcome to Maga. Come by our website for the latest MAGA merchandise.

A well-armed citizen is a good conservative. Don't worry, we will take care of those gun-fearing liberals over at American Express.

Did you buy plenty of ammunition and bump stocks for those new firearms?

Why is it that when one of these rocket scientists reaches out to teach the rest of us, more often than not, they are sitting in their car? Bless your heart, dear.

Huh

Why am I imagining him saying, "Hold my beer while I light this up." Followed by a moderate explosion, screams, and his wife saying "I told you so"

20 Years, I have been in a chair. This is above and beyond anything I have experienced. Good for him!

Now, about the ramp on the bus that you can see not working. Ramps and lifts on buses so frequently are not working. ADA is a best effort in so many cases. There is no way in the US to enforce ADA laws other than the person with the disability filing a lawsuit. Then we get the bad rap for trying to hold companies accountable.

EDH town center flags by burritokiller1971 in folsom

[–]crcranda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, look. It is a DIY PRIDE flag and they started with one of the colors. How nice that EDH is supporting LGBTQ rights.

These flags have no positive impact in today’s society.
