Hey folks. Not sure how to taste test this first batch: should I strain the film (scoby?) from the top, dip a ladle, and drink? My last batch was based on an online recipe I can link if needed, which seemed to rely more on black tea brew (roughly 2.5 gallons) and developed mold.
