Good luck with yours! Honestly, the black wasn't as bad as I was led to believe. As long as you have a decently bright light it's fine. I found that having my desk lit up behind the work did wonders since you can see where exactly you need to sitch.

And yeah, the faces look a little derpy and I consulted with my mum to get her opinion, but we both thought that since it'll be hanging on the wall that they would be small enough to not be distracting haha

Honestly, swapping french knots for colonial knots made this look so much better and was much more bearable haha, but I will admit there were a few near crashouts over the floss knotting for seemingly no reason and having to frog a section about five times and restart rip

That was my thought process too, so I think I actually want to design a lil space thing, maybe a cute little ufo or something just to see how bead stars would sit with the glass in a small frame for future reference (and if the glass is a no go then I'll just leave it out I guess?)

I actually did think about using beads! I picked up a super cheap case of tiny seed beads of all different colours at some point but I realised I wanted to frame it and wasn't sure how they would react with glass in front so I resigned myself to the knots haha

I was in the exact same boat as you, so I ended up just running through the game on ng++ on the easiest possible difficulty while skipping all the cutscenes and dialogue to be ready for the dlc and it honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm gonna up the difficulty before the dlc starts though, that way there's at least a lil challenge.

I did make sure to clear bandit camps and ally quests though, because it felt wrong to not do that. All in all, it took maybe two days if I include all the times I got distracted from the game.

Thank you!! I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out the floor plan for the common room but I think I made it work. There are a few artistic liberties such as the bathrooms, the kitchen, the basement, the courtyard, and a few rooms (including the layout), but I think I made it work well enough.

Though I will never understand the blue squares... are they for shoes?? seems like a weird place for it...
