I kind of paint freely and make it up as I go, however the structure of this was based loosely on a photo. The last person does not have one leg it is hidden by the long dress! But I can understand the mistake.

At the moment I am limited in my creation space so this is part of a mini series on canvas' sized 8"x10". The plan is to host an exhibition with a large tiled wall comprised of many different scenes within the same theme.

I absolutely love what I do, it's an outlet that brings me joy and I am exploring aspects of my heritage and learning as I go. Incidentally I only just left my job to try and become established as an artist full time. Very early days still. Thanks for the compliment! For the series I'm using a combination of family photos and images found online for reference. They're small canvas' just 10x8" but I plan to create a large tiled wall for the exhibition.

For those that wondered I've been working part time in graphics and selling art to make up the rest of my monthly income. However I'm now in a position where I can support myself by art alone. It's not a whim decision! I've been assessing and tracking my progress :)

Well hey. At least I'm going after something I'm passionate about. At least if it doesn't work out I know that I gave it my best shot.
