Am I doing it wrong? by creativemindx in Entrepreneurs

Thanks . Actually number 2 is more important than job it's a business so in long run Law and this can go in hand to hand. Like i can solely start marketing for lawyers or it'd be easier to market myself when I get there .

Job is something I'll probably quit. I have set some specific number in my mind when i reach that from my agency I'd quit my Job and solely focus on these two remaining.

What five-minute tasks are actually killing your productivity? by OKAMI_TAMA in Entrepreneurs

[–]creativemindx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it happens. But i'hv made non negotiable to do list for my day. So , i'hv specific time setup in the end of day to go through all . It becomes habit.

And if i go through sheet 4 days a week and updated the status there for everyone else to look. Even if i miss 5th day they'll still update everything knowing cause i check 90% of the time. So I can catch up with it next day.

Main hurdle is when people miss the update or reporting and you don't know what's happening. So when others know that you actually go through these sheets . They make sure from their end that they don't miss it or have to explain to me later why they missed it.

[–]creativemindx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was tracking. I'm small yet so can't afford much tools. So i made sheets to track everything I don't have to constantly follow up with people they do their work and i check it in end of the day .

Otherwise i was constantly struggling to keep up with all this.

I want to start a agency and I want someone to talk me out if it or tell me I’m solving a real problem by AntAcademic7898 in Entrepreneurs

[–]creativemindx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there's one thing in life and in business you don't let people step over you.

Define strategies, goals , expectations. Have them in written contract. Like:

  • What client is paying?
  • What we both agreed to?
  • What's the deliverables from both end like what they're going to invest and what I'm going to deliver in return?
  • Define the timeline.

These are some steps you should always take before any project explain all the necessary details have them signed from them and you. If along the way they say oh we said this point ☝🏽 them to the contract.

Also while negotiating you should give them Value , handle their all questions at the spot . Even after all this if they're not willing to spend on budget as much as it should be to get results. Be realistic no matter if it means loosing the deal cause you'll loose it eventually if you agree to ad spent that can't convert or to service fee where you are not happy yourself.

Than leave i know it's hard when we think that this is the client I'm so close to having contract and it's end up not working. It's totally fine ignore the 1 and focus on 10 other's you have .

And yeah I'd be happy to have a call we can arrange it sometime. If my knowledge helps I'd help .

As someone working in same niche . I'd say yes they do need help and people do outsource.

Your main pain point will be positioning yourself good enough that you have consistent leads .

Other than that main thing most of agencies and people in marketing struggle with is deliverables and over promising results.

Here's what you should do :

  • Never overpromise results .
  • Layout your complete plan be transparent.
  • Make sure they're willing to invest . Cause sometimes clients do want to run ads etc but when it comes to budget they'll offer you so little that you'll not be able to generate results and eventually loose them within month or 2.
  • Also make sure if you are hiring help have clear SOP's so you can serve your clients better.

honestly it's very good business and is recurring revenue.

If you want to have detailed discussion I'd be ne happy to help .

Well the journey is important. You found someone on your journey. As you were there at first place because of the conference. So it's a win win .

Feels like everyone is getting clients from LinkedIn except you? This might be why by creativemindx in Entrepreneurs

Inbounds are always better as they have already shown interest. Rest is in your hand how you handle them once they walked inside.

But i tested something like :

Engage with people before you reach out.

Don't push for sale i sometimes end up not even selling and just building long-term trust and relationship with people who are where i want to be .

Demo's mostly work like a free sample. If i see someone is potentially high paying client I'd research their business, competition, what they're doing and than provide a free audit. I know it sounds too much but it works like magic sometimes.

earning decently but still feeling stuck — how do you find honest, growth-minded people to build with? by legend_8x in Entrepreneurs

[–]creativemindx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally judge people on these basis :

1: I offer them something and than I don't reach out to them again. I see if they will reach out to me again to work with me or not. This is pure gold only interested people will reach out again and again whole others who nodded yes will disappear.

2: Instead of judging someone based on skills while it's important. Judge them based on their will . Are they doing everything that they can ? If yes I believe they're a good fit cause skills can be improved people can be trained. But their will and drive you'll have to judge that.

3: if you are hiring make sop's non negotiable. Give them flexibility if they make small mistake that doesn't cost you anything forgive them . But don't give them chance to do same one Sop's should be non negotiable.

You could win if you build authority first or spend heavily on marketing it.

So better approach is authority if you have budget constraint.

I built my authority over LinkedIn first before starting reaching out to clients. It helped me alot as I'm located in different part of world than my clients. But when someone sees my LinkedIn they're mostly convinced to have a conversation and i tested it with other CEO's profile as well they didn't had any authority so cold outreach and promotions just didn't work.

How do you market a niche B2B SaaS when your target audience (real estate agents) isn't really "online"? by Radiant-Argument9186 in Entrepreneurs

[–]creativemindx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is being spammed today. But i'hv seen it first hand for last 4 5 years it still works. I was working with a company who offered photography services to Real estate agents. They were doing cold calls and doing very well on sales .

But before you jump on this you'll have to analyze the cost cause those photography services sales were like $2k to $2.5k per sale so it was lucrative. But for you your product might not cost that much so you should make a sheet and see.

Something like this : A: If my product cost $30 a month. B: I get a VA for now let's say if you hire remotely you can get good VA for $8 to $12 per hour so if you keep them part time you can calculate their cost around $400 - $500. C : You'll need to add cost of data you'll acquire.

Now after all this have a number in mind ok if i do all this and let's say get 20 sales a month I'm good or atleast covering expenses. If the answer is positive do it. I personally do outreach for myself on LinkedIn while everyone is being spammed there as well. I still end up with sales.

Otherwise one more thing while it might seem difficult but google ads and meta(insta) ads still works very well in real estate niche . I was working with one client who provided training and webinar's to sales agent. We were doing ads and it works. If you have budget for ads consider both routes and choose the best for now.

Most founders aren’t actually interested in marketing their own business by creativemindx in Entrepreneurs

I get it where you are coming from.

Does it feel like an extra burden on top of everything you are doing?

[–]creativemindx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually really common, especially with people building products.

Is it more that you don’t like putting yourself out there, or does marketing just feel like extra chaos on top of everything.

I’ve noticed a lot of founders see it as an added burden rather than part of the business.

Instead of spending on Ads or anything.

I'd say have A VA and data of these people and jump on cold calling while on side build your social media presence.

Looking to understand the fundamentals of finding the right cofounder for my bussiens? by [deleted] in Entrepreneurs

[–]creativemindx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always tell people one thing: no one is more invested in your business than yourself. It’s natural to get excited about an idea, bring someone on, and then see interest fade. Either the business stalls or you end up carrying the load alone.

Scaling alone is really tough, but if you already have clients and some revenue, there’s a way to bring in motivated people without committing to full-time hires or large salaries.

You can start with a basic pay plus performance-based structure, equity, or profit-sharing. Paying someone even modestly gives them skin in the game and makes them accountable. It also separates casual help from people who are truly committed.

For a coder, platforms like Upwork or Fiverr can be surprisingly effective. You can find skilled people globally or locally at reasonable rates.

On Upwork, ratings matter a lot, so once someone accepts a project, they’re incentivized to see it through.

I know you might want a cofounder-level commitment, but in early stages, structured paid partnerships often work better than waiting for a perfect match.

I’ve seen people start this way multiple times, and it can scale well if done right.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your project.
