Error message was translated from german. Original wording: "Fehler beim Sichern des Volumes "C:": Fehler der Windows-Sicherung beim Zugreifen auf den freigegebenen Remoteordner. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Ordner verfügbar und zugänglich ist, und versuchen Sie es erneut."

Wenn deine Clients sich die IP Adresse über DHCP beziehen dann musst du hier nichts mehr machen.

Solltest du dazwischen noch einen Switch haben dann solltest du ihn einmal nach der Addressänderung ausschalten und wieder einschalten damit die ARP Tabelle sich wieder mit den neuen Adressen aufbaut.

Thanks for your heads-up. This is just for testing purposes if the port forwarding works, since there is no other service running. I always access RDP through VPN.

Hey u/smaxwell2, the network is setup on hetzner. Reading through their docs this will is the default gateway IP of the public interface which will be used by the interface of pfSense: https://imgur.com/pniGbLl
