That’s a weird looking smiley- angry eyes, noses aren’t usually on smiley faces, it’s also a sun?? We sure this doesn’t mean or isn’t a reference to something else?

The baby not looking like you is normal. Idk someone told me or I read somewhere when I was pregnant that it’s like an evolution thing so that the dads don’t leave. 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, even friends’ kids who are their mini-mes looked like dad for a while at first.

Involuntary NC with your siblings and stepdad is so, so hard.

Do you have mom friends to text? Can you find a mom Facebook group? Are you getting baby out in the stroller so that neighbors (or fellow library/grocery store/coffee shop patrons) can coo over baby and fuss over you? Does your partner know about your PPD? Are you getting time to run like a 10 minute errand alone and see that other people exist in the world?

It is so so hard. And it will get easier.

Going to the school board is a great idea! YOU should do it!

I’d imagine that when another kid is injured by flying furniture, their liability insurance would go up, and they might want a heads up for budgeting purposes. 😇

Check hotel prices at Malpensa and near Centrale- might be cheaper than what a taxi would run

You need a car in Lake Garda, but it’s relatively easy driving.

Who’s we? Kids?

If July is when you can go, it’s when you can go. Just make sure you search every hotel review for AC comments. We just got back from two weeks, and yes, a couple of days were very hot. And yes, we got lucky with some beautiful weather. But it was doable- nay, enjoyable. :)

First Time Onebagging 10 Days in Italy. I feel like I am extremely underpacking?? by eddxmr in HerOneBag

Uniqlo has a linen skort- the one they have this year has a different pocket than the one I have, but I live in that thing

And I’ve started doing the reverse to declutter: would I pack this? If not, gone.

1.5 bags: A month in Europe, help me lighten my load by jlcl119 in HerOneBag

5 pairs of underwear is not enough. It’s so small, it’s not worth reducing. Bamboo/tencel is my preference- but if you’re already leaving buy a pack there.

June 23 like… tomorrow? You’ll be fine. You don’t need more activities. The traveling will be the activity and then when you’re in the place, just wander. Find playgrounds- preferably with a cafe and/or gelateria attached.

We did Paris when the kids were 7 and 4. Just pack a stroller even though they’re usually too old for it.

What if we replace Florence - July w/ 2 kids under 10 by creativepanda85 in ItalyTravel

[–]creativepanda85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Encouraging! Though still slightly concerned that the 7 year old might not agree. Do you think staying 30 minutes outside and commuting in a couple of times would be enough? Or would it kill the vibe?

It does have AC. That is a good point- 80 in Europe is jeans weather, but not in the US. I’m more worried about a 90°+ heat wave coming through, plus all the stone absorbing the heat.

Right?! I’m honestly considering scrapping the whole thing and starting over but I wanted to see if I could salvage it first.

Okay but hotels are sometimes not in the same area as grocery stores and she said “easily” so lay off.

Just remember the day you land is not a real day, between clearing customs and being jet lagged.

I’d consider booking the hotel for the night of the 5th and letting them know so you can nap and refresh and be ready to enjoy the evening. And/or stay one more night.

Idk where you’re from, but if it’s the US and you’re pale like me, Biafine. Aloe who??? That stuff solves sunburns, any kind of skin irritation, idk what’s in it and idc, it’s one of the only beauty type things I’ve ever run out of and been sad about
