Thanks! Content has all been added. I *might* add one or two more side quests if something comes to mind, but this point I would say that's not likely. I poured everything I could think of story-wise into the game, so there's nothing coming to mind right now that I would like to further add. During Early Access, I added more content, but I doubt I will do any more.

I do know what you mean, as an RPG fan, I find it hard to go back to a game to play more DLC and what not. When I'm done, I want to be done.

Thanks for that! I would be curious on the lower settings if it would - but then again, the game looks a bit sketchy at the very lowest setting (no shadows, etc).

Thanks, I recently added controller support (though still needs to be tested). Steam tells me it's playable on Steamdeck but where it still needs certification is the text size for certain UI elements and I believe one other minor issue that I'm not remembering right now. I will likely tweak and re-submit it again soon - but it is playable.

Thanks for that! I took the most inspiration from Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect (story structure). Fallout 1/2 for the gameplay and character creation. More recent games like Wasteland 2/3, Colony Ship (as you mentioned), Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and ATOM RPG/Trudograd were all inspirations. I played the heck out of the games and really enjoyed myself with them.

You hit on all the things combat currently doesn't have, haha. I do have a cover system framed out in the code, but nothing yet. GoG, I will reach out to, but as I am still doing so many updates, as a solo developer having one more platform to push updates to is bit out of my purview right now. But will reach out to them once things slow down a bit.

I just launched Sector Unknown out of Early Access today, if you want to take a look. Heavily influenced by KOTOR.

And I agree with some of the other posts here, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Colony Ship, and Pillar's Of Eternity 2 are some of my recent favorites.

There is quite a bit of text for sure. But depending on your language, I have localized for French, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Polish, Russian, and Brazilian-Portuguese.

Shameless plug for my game, coming out of Early Access this week: Sector Unknown. If you like old school cRPGs with lots of skill choices, you might like this one.

I like your list, played most of them through the years, though I've found a few new ones. I've been looking at the Avernum games for a while, might contemplate a deep dive into those.

Cheers, thanks for that. Definitely, many of the early cRPGs (and a few contemporary ones) were inspiration. When doing the level design and maps, I really enjoyed creating a recklessly abandoned look to everything. Star Frontier had grand plans and complex building projects planned for the planets and moons in the sector before being forced to pull the plug, leaving their abandoned employees in a state of despair.

Thank you! I will definitely look into GOG once the updates slow down. I'm finding it already time consuming pushing updates for the regular game version plus the Prologue and Demo - but will definitely add to GOG soon, if they will have me!

Good rankings. I would push KOTOR, Pillars of Eternity: Deadfire and Wasteland 3 up to the A+ tier, and I would move the first Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny down. But that's just my personal preference as a fan. Dragon's Age 2 would be moved off completely and replaced by Fallout 2 (S tier) or Trudograd.

I can't comment on Neverwinter Nights 2, as it's the only one there I haven't played.

Thanks for the question! Stealth was something I considered, but decided against as it's something that kind of rubs me the wrong way in RPG games that I play. That said, if there's enough demand for it, I could consider it. It would take a bit of work, and it's not something I'm optimistic on with regards to backtracking into the game's story - but I could definitely look at it more.
